hi hi I hope I'm not too late for the au ask because I would LOVE a bodyguard au for lucky!

NEVER TOO LATE

1. lu is an important witness in a big case about mobsters and poison and all that jazz and after an attempt on her life law enforcement decides she needs a bodyguard aka bucky

2. bucky is all strong and silent and has this crazy prosthetic arm and obviously has been through some shit so even though he’s a little light on the conversation she at least feels like if someone attacked he could protect her

3. he never really voices much but she can see as he kind of...softens towards her? and the conversations they do have are so easy and insightful and he’s very different than what she thought he would be but she likes it

4. he has to save her SO MANY TIMES cause the mobsters are DETERMINED TO KILL HER but every time he gets a wound she patches it up for him and even though really he could do it himself he lets her because he likes having her close to him (even though he’ll never admit it)

5. the trial ends and the death threats fade so they figure he can stop guarding her but like...now he’s just gonna do it voluntarily cause they’re in lOVE
