@fleshturned ❤'d for a starter!!
Dr. Lucille Nielly knocked on the door of the gym before crossing the threshold. Today, she was not human appearing in the slightest. Her waist was cinched tight to her spine, organs rearranged and twisted and compacted to accommodate. The physiology of the balls of her feet and toes had been manipulated such that now she appeared to have hooves. There was still the distinct ‘click’ of heels though - a sound created by the large, sharp, retractable spikes she’d sculpted from her own heels.
Her lengthened arms ended with hands that had long, razor sharp claws instead of fingers. Horns spiraled up into points from her forehead and she’d crafted her face into a grotesque muzzle filled with teeth primed for ripping and a jaw like a snake’s.
When a client had missed a follow-up appointment - people did not miss follow-up appointments with her - she’d asked her lovely receptionist about it. Rose, the bright-eyed young woman who stubbornly refused to acknowledge that anything was ever wrong, said the patient in question had mentioned going to a gym to get a “perfect body” to match her face when the surgeries were done.
Knowing the gym and who ran it made the pieces click from there.
“It is rude to steal another’s prey, Jared Hopworth.” As she spoke, a mouth opened on her throat and the voice which came out was perfectly level. In fact, now that she had entered and was simply standing, the woman was eerily still, unblinking. “Should you return my patient and compensate me suitably for my time, I will overlook your indiscretion.”
