I’ve been rereading all of the Chepe headcanons on Tumblr, and there’s a theme that’s absent:
Jealous Chepe.
I’d imagine it would be quite, ahem, intense.

Hope your summer is going well. I heard some music by Luis Miguel for the first time today, and it made me think of your posts regarding his biopic.
All I have to say is WOW. His voice is amazing. I plan on listening to more of his stuff to improve my Spanish skills. I’m still a beginner, but I found listening to music in a new language helpful in learning it.

Something somewhat related to the Narcos-Narcos Mexico fandom that popped up on my news feed a bit ago:
El Chapo’s wife (well, one of them? Based on the fact that El Chapo is rumored to have multiple) has been arrested by US authorities for international drug trafficking.
Apparently she also conspired to help him escape prison multiple times, with success, before the US authorities got him.
Just proves the point further: DON’T romanticize the real people and their crimes.
We’re all just here to fangirl over the dramatic interpretations done by the actors on the Netflix shows.
But something else that’s disturbing about this new story: The wife (this particular one, at least), Emma Coronel Aispuro, is 31–my age (I know, I’m old) and El Chapo, is like my parents’ age💀
stop lmaoo you made me choke on my chips reading that last part,, but yeah i heard about this too and i sat there like- damn theres no way she’s getting out of this,, but i mean in her “defense” (if you can even consider it to be one💀) she didnt know he was el chapo when she met him but by the time she married him and knew his personal life,, she couldnt leave otherwise she would be killed, but here we are, she got caught-
Hey, after reading more about the real Amado here in your blog, I decided to type in his name on Reddit, because I woke up randomly at 4am and couldn’t get back to sleep.
Most of the top results concerned his death, and they were all interesting to say the least.
Lack of documentation regarding his death?
The state of his body at his funeral, despite having the resources to make it look better?
From what I could determine from comments, there are even Elvis-like sightings and theories of him having faked his death...
All very, very strange.
But then again, it’s Reddit, not always the most credible source.
And, for the record, as we all have known for awhile, the real Amado was icky and nasty, in appearance and in actions.
They really made him attractive casting Jose Maria Yazpik to play him on the show.
Which could be said for all of the real life counterparts of our favorite Narcos and Narcos Mexico characters...
hi amor! ,, um yeah that part about lack of documentation is one of the leading “evidences” he still might be alive by a lot of people (not to mention a cousin of his fueled it even more by saying amado was fine),, but since corruption runs strong in mexico to this day it could be an explanation for such small/careless documentation,, but also amado was one of the most well known for keeping things in the low,, much of the “info” on him is taken with a grain of salt since no one speaks about him but :/
and yes! 💀 all real life narcos should never be romantized bc we’re all just here for the actors and no one else 😌

to be honest- im kind of neutral with him💀 i did love his character and have a spot for him but im not sure lmaoo- but hey i allow for any of you to catch feelings for anyone >:)
