How to Live Forever

Whether you are old, young, or somewhere in between, you probably have an inevitable fear common to all- death. What will it be like? Will it hurt? And is there a way to stop us from dying? No matter which drugs we pump into our veins, we will not live forever; we very likely will not see the world 100 years from now. Life is fragile, we are fragile and even if we did live forever, I’m sorry to say, our souls would not survive. There is, however, a way to exist forever- to be known and to play an important role in society for years to come. To accomplish this, you must make sure everyone knows your name. You must express yourself and reveal your opinions: tell everyone what you believe in, share your stories about the good and the bad things in life– even if they are embarrassing or awkward. Write songs about changing the world, fight for freedom, adopt a child, follow your dreams and live to help others. You can become an inspiration. You will live in and impact the souls of those who will exist in future generations to come. Forever you will speak through others’ voices, influence the thoughts in other people’s heads and breathe the air in other people’s lungs. The truth is, our bodies won’t live forever, and we have no idea what is waiting for us when we finally pass on. And to be honest- what is in store for us in the future doesn’t truly matter. What really matters is now.
