It was an ok job, the flexible hours were great and stage stuff was so fun. The grabby guys and guys who smelled bad not so much. It’s a shame this kind of work is so stigmatized in the US. I think sexuality is really normal and bodies aren’t bad so why the need to hide them? The US is a weird place. I’m really thankful for my job now. As someone who grew up in a lot of religion (I legit lived on like a weird cult for a while where we had to wear long skirts and any type of dancing was considered a sin) embracing my sexuality feels like freedom. And I absolutely love it.
