Now friends, this is our first ever show, so here are three truths about black swan events. First: we won’t be a band for everyone. We will be your favorite band. Second: We tell stories so it’s easier to tell the truth. Just because something is fictional does not make it dishonest. The third is one of those stories. Once upon a time, there was a lonesome little girl locked in a dark room. This room of hers had a roof of glass that always let her see the sky but nothing else. The stars noticed this and took pity on her. They told her their stories, and in return for their favor, she swore she would find her own in that world she'd never seen. Welcome to the jailbreak. This next song is a direct quote from her favorite of all the constellations, a cluster rising over Lake Michigan called fall out boy. Here’s our 11 o'clock number: the (after) life of the party.

Alright friends, we’ve come to the end of our evening. Our final song is a gift, so here are three thank you notes to go with it. First: a thank you to my dear friends Murph Elyria and Loula Barnes who wrote this piece with me. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have them in my life. Second: a thank you to Chroma and Joanna Vila for taking a chance on our first show. I had an absolute fucking blast tonight and I think y'all did too. Everyone give it up for Joanna Vila and Chroma!
