I tought that Gamzee's guart could be Karkat xd and Tavros could be Vriska's... How are Vris and Kar in your AU?

I have written out the major plot points of the AU as to why KK and GZ can’t really be linked to one another how like the normal HS universe is. In this AU Karkat, Kanaya, Nep, Vris, Fef, and the dancestors are trying to spearhead a successful revolution. 

Meenah’s failed hence the dancestors getting booted off homeworld. So Karkat became the main head back at home base with Meenah as co-leader. I’ll explain Gamzee’s tie in to the AU below the cut so as not to stretch anyone’s dashboards.

“Gamzee: Unknowingly born into the most corrupted caste, Gamzee is expected to fallow in the Grand Highbloods footsteps but with his conflictions due to his lowblooded friends, as well as his lack of enthusiasm, he is beginning to become a disappointment and target. Karkat uses him to stay in touch with what is going on in the upper levels of the empire. Gamzee unknowingly tells him classified information all the time. If it wasn’t for this, he may have been assassinated a while ago. “  ( x ) 

All of these butched attempts as well as his natural mental disposition leaves Gamzee much more paranoid in this AU hence his jumpy nature. He still is chill most of the time, just not at public gatherings or official business.

Karkat has his blood mutation. He would be culled on site if he tried to be a threshcutionor or bodyguard. He’s “hiding” from the empire with the help of the “resistance” group. His group is more about killing highbloods with Meenah’s is about inciting change. They collab together though. He is also good friends with Eridan which causes a lot of conflict and issues but they are both good sources for one another. Dan gets info from Karkat to Feferi. 

Vriska was deemed to dangerous to even have a bodyguard! Tavros requested being reassigned from Vriska, his “punishment” was to work with lussi as a caretaker of sorts but that worked out just fine with him! Still he was trained and had experience (and survived!) with Vriska as a guard so he occassionally fills in. He is a but oblivious to the revolution and doesn’t take Gamzee’s mutterings and occasional slips about the resistance seriously.

There’s…a lot of hemo spectrum politics involved. And bloodshed! :D
