HIS PULSE THUNDERS IN HIS EARS as adrenaline roars through his veins , his heart nearly beating right out of his chest at the lingering thrill of narrowly avoided disaster . a row of white is revealed as his helmet is removed and a beaming grin spreads across his face . one day he’ll grow accustomed to the excitement , but for the time being it still leaves him quite breathless . ‘ well , ‘ he pauses as a winded laugh squeezes in between his words , ‘ that sure went better than expected ! ‘
