i really love the stories where dean and cas meet again after being away from each other. it’s so interesting to see how they notice all the small changes (and the big ones too), how they try to fit in the new spaces around each other, and maybe also find something new in the process

cas is bad at cooking, but he has this one cake that always comes out perfect and he’s making it for all special occasions. it’s so good that even dean loves it and eats too much every time, but its so worth it because he gets to see how proud cas is of his cake.
