laxus has Moments in the guild hall where he remembers how young wendy is and he sorta?? freaks out?? because there are adults in FT have discussions that are not suitable for girls wendy’s age. he scares them off tho with a good Glare.he supports wendy’s musical tendencies by talking about her with them and complimenting her in a genuine way. it may not be his specific musical genre, but he Respects ithe would offer to train with her but he does not hold back and also—wouldn’t want to punch a young kid! even if she is also a dragon slayer! he knows she can fuck shit up but he can’t get past the idea of: Little and Must Protect!! sorry wendy!!!

All while eyes widened into a stare, her brain trying to understand the reason behind his motion before he can complete it. Only to be stalled by the ever so notable steam rushing to her face. 

  Before she could flinch away the action was over. And within a few blinks, Olexa was able to comprehend what he had done. Instinctively, her hand went to her hair. Almost pulled out the strand he just tucked away but instead went to play with the end of a curl. Now turning to hide her sudden embarrassment. 

     “It-it’s always such a mess… my-my-my hair I-I mean. B-Bu-But thank you for-for fixing it.” The girl could only feel her face gain heat but did her best to place a smile regardless.

(𝒮𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉) —- Levy would hearken to his voice whilst rummaging through the stack of books piled ‘pon the tabletop – prior, he’d asked for her assistance on a matter (he wouldn’t further inform her but she’d oblige anyways), and here she was: flipping through every hardcover, her ‘Gale-Force’ reading glasses resting ‘pon the bridge of her nose while skimming through the smooth pages. It’d only take her a moment to lift her gaze at the Dragonslayer, merely seeking answers and if he was willing to provide her with any – without setting the book down, Levy turned her entire frame to fully face the other, an inquiry resting on the tip of her tongue (which she’d hesitantly pondered on moments earlier) and ‘fore she would have the opportunity to ask, he’d interrupt. Completely unaware  that he’d spoken just when she was about to – 

And the words he’d manage to voice brought her to curiously glance at the book he held within his grasp: A book on Fiore’s history, countless tales of Mages from long ago – short tales, of course. You could never fully write down everything that’d happened in such a short period of time, in a single book, not at all. Replacing her thumb with a single bookmark -scarlet against ivory – ‘fore shutting it closed, her footsteps silent ‘pon her approach. Observing the object he’d held within his grasp - her own limbs remained at her side - with interest, “I never thought of it that way.”

since she had been a child, sherry had always looked forward to the winter festival. it was supposed to be the most peaceful time of the year and although she had grown too cynical not to know just how many arguments it brought every year, there was a part of her that had never quite grown up, a part that mostly focused on the way everything shone golden --- especially in zinnia where the local mages tended to help out with the decorations --- and the homely weather and the festive spirit that captured the hearts of the people.

she was smiling down at wendy as she paid a vendor and handed the girl a cup of hot chocolate, motioning for her to come along as she strolled away from the busier streets in search of a spot where they could enjoy their beverage and maybe continue their conversation from earlier. ‘‘ as i said, ’’ she said softly, gently blowing the steam away from her face, ‘‘ i appreciate your help with chelia's present --- i do think you're not only closer to her in age but also in . . . interests. ’’

that answer was far too quick to look anything but suspicious. well, in truth, he was taken off guard the moment gajeel spoke to him – how did gajeel even know his name ? afterall, if lyon was here for anyone it would have been gray or juvia — or makarov if he was doing his ‘messenger boy’ jobs.  

the ice mage cocks his head slightly at the dragon slayer, smirking slightly before laughing, 

‘ oh, wow, gajeel. these compliments – flattery will get you everywhere, i’m sure. ’ his tone is dry, very classic of lyon. but, if the other is going to give it then lyon is sure to give it right back. 

‘ what concern is it of yours why i’m here ? what are you, fairy tail’s resident guard dog ? don’t you have a tin can to eat or something ? ’

look. okay. imma shock you all right now. i like lyon. i know. he may even be my favourite character from fairy tail — hard to believe, i’m sure. and GHOST. GHOST. LOML GHOST —- the only valid lyon rper ever. the only lyon portrayal that matters on this abyss of a hellsite. oh? her other muses? yeah. also god tier. also the best damn things you’ve ever read in your life. imma just get real 2015 with you like — senpai? damn sure. i stan you.

and ghost as a person?!?!?! as a friend?!?!?! my dudes. the best friend you could want. the kindest. warmest. funniest. most patient soul. have i known ghost for that long? no. would i die for her? uhm yeah. don’t test me. 

like i don’t think you can FATHOM the love i have for you and your characters and your overall presence in my life. i’m so eternally grateful for it. i dunno what i did to warrant the diving intervention of you coming into my life, but i’m hecking glad it happened. okay.

"Ah Laxus - san! You wouldnt happen to be preoccupied today?" Cue Wendy holding up a small box of decorations. "I -- I have a few too high to reach places. Would umm.. you mind helping?" // hi c :

he looked up when he heard his voice being called in the guild hall. it was not often that such a polite call to his attention was made, after all, so it would be bad to ignore it. as he saw wendy approach with a box in her hands, he grew curious as to what she needed.

suddenly, it dawned at him even before she spoke. it would make sense she was so…small. tough as hell, but small. she seemed nervous about asking for his help, so he made sure to smile at her because unlike the other dragon slayers in the guild—wendy did not annoy him simply by existing (often it was Existing Very Loud; though even he will admit to warming up to gajeel more. now, if natsu would stop asking him to fight then…) and also: she was much younger than the rest.

“i sure do hope you’re payin me for this wendy.” laxus joked. he stood up and took off his coat–just so not tinsel RUINED it. he placed it on the table where he sat and easily swiped the box from her hands. “point out where you need ‘im and i’ll do my best.”
