it's only been a bit but already I've noticed several changes in my mental health/demeanor

I think I'm hot now?? I never would have described myself that way before, but apparently when you fix your dysphoria suddenly your face and thighs and chest are hot???? truly insane

my partner says that my confidence has increased a lot, and i definitely feel more settled in myself

I believe demonizing people for the things they cannot control, that they experience due to their mind's chemistry, trauma, or upbringing, or they simply feel they are as they are, is beyond inhumane. It doesn't matter if the individual you are dehumanizing doesn't identify with the human identity, they still deserve basic rights of one. That includes not belittling them down to irredeemable monsters for things they experience. Punishing these individuals leads to those suffering with the risky ones being at a higher chance of harming their object of attraction. It teaches them that if they want to seek help or someone to lean on they will be demonized and hurt. Paraphilia are natural and everyone experiences them, according the official lists of paraphilia. Liking tits or ass more are paras. There's your fun fact. If you like tits or ass you're a paraphile.

I once called myself a whore on instagram (in a screenshot post on my private spam) and had my post taken down an hour later + account suspended for a week

I once reported revenge porn posted on instagram, the post remained up for 5 months and the account faced no consequences

both of these incidents happened in 2019

so no. I'm not surprised meta is getting rid of fact checking. I'm not surprised they changed their policy to allow gender-based discrimination. I'm not surprised it's become a right-wing cesspool that eats candy out of Trump's pocket.
