The irony. Maggie had just gotten the news that her brother had disappeared in a mountain climbing accident, and the first day of P.E. they would be doing indoor rock climbing?? It was moments like these where she was certain that the universe had it out for her. Looking towards the guy that was next in life, it seemed like he would be the one she would be competing against. “Are you ready?” she inquired, followed by a bit of a strained smile.

Viridian covered her nose to keep from breathing in that old high school smell that seemed to be one of the odd constants across the multiverse. The being meant to be a teacher- she was usually a teacher if she could help it- but her young appearance had again betrayed her and she was now starting her first day of school in a little town called Forks. And.... she was soaking wet. The downpour she’d woken up to that morning only lightening to a heavy mist just as she’d reached the front door of the school building. Already a grand experience.  But at least nothing was trying to kill her.
