Boeing and United Airlines Test Advanced Digital Communications for the Future of Flight http://dlvr.it/TPm3zX
Preflight in the hangar because it god cold again😬. Did a little flight testing with my CFI this morning and learned that there’s a trim/control issue in this thing. After another cfi and student complained that the plane kept breaking right in stalls, we tried it out and found the same thing in a bunch of different configs. Also tested it in normal cruise configs and found trimmed for level flight, wings level and ball centered, it would bank right. In normal bank attitudes to the right, obscene amount of left aileron correction was needed to stay coordinated while being no where near the point where over bank tendency is usually encountered. We tried using rudder trim to fix to no avail, weight was pretty evenly distributed throughout the aircraft. Any test pilots have ideas? Again same characteristics were found by other crews. . . . #flighttest #flighttesting #airplanesarecool #flighttraining #airplanes #instagramaviation #avination #avnation #pillottopilot #cessna #generalaviation #flynewengland #maineaviation #aviation #aviationphotography #cessna182 #cessna182rg
