GASTON - What does your muse love most about themselves?

Claymore has his issues, but he does love the sheer physical power he has over his age-mates, that and his patience. Urru trait or not, nothing is better than to plot long while your rivals rush and rush. Only to fall into your trap.

THE STABBINGTON BROTHERS - What reasons would make your muse choose to follow someone?

Family, Clay puts a lot of stock in his family. Though this is not his pedigree as much as his 'found family' of sorts. His father, his brother and anyone who manages to earn his trust, he will follow. Clay is very aware just how cruel your family can be, so he sticks to his dearest.

QUEEN OF HEARTS - What’s your muse’s favorite color?

Emerald green, anything of that shade. Though he does not wear it since he has to match his father. But if Clay ever manages to find another duty, he'd switch to green.

05:  A memory that your character wishes to erase  

As edgy as it is; Memories of his sire. Clay feels Cel never truly cared for him and just pretended to be nice to him.  Thus, Clay often does not even bother with him.

09:  Something that frightens your character

Losing his family. Clay has nightmares about unity, quite regularly. Waking up always makes him seek out the familiar scents of his family.

10:  Something that turns your character on

Being given the attention that is not false and being told that he acts like a skeksis. Clay is, in other words, easy as fuck.

🌼 Who are this characters friends and found family? How did they meet, how long have they been friends for, could they ever be something more than just friends? What do they look for in a friend or a romantic partner? Though I answered this before, I’m going to go through his ties in the RPs. Clay sees his cousin skekSaor as almost a little sister, given she is so naive and unworldly compared to him. As such Clay tends to try to push her out of her shell if he can. Another close tie is his half-brother skekSon. Sunny has the makings of a clever manipulator, if only he would grow up and get over his ‘nice’ mentality. In neither case is Clay anything but an accidental enabler of poor behaviour.

🍄 What are your OCs favourite snacks? Their favourite comfort food which always cheers them up when they’re down? Favourite meal to make? Do they enjoy baking and cooking and are they any good in the kitchen?

Crawlies are ever popular, of course, but Clay truly loves rib-bones. Given his teeth are less suited to cracked than scratching, he gets a lot out of them. On the sweet side, he has not found a pastry he does not like. As for cooking himself? No, he cannot. He CAN hunt his prey, but cooking it is out of the question for this spoiled brat.

💐 How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need?

Raised by a workaholic, Clay haaaaates being confined to bed. Especially alone. If he is with company, he stays in bed better, but it is still something he prefers not to do.

For the reverse, Clay is a dutiful nurse. He has the patience to handle grumpy patients and a tough hide to deal with clawings and bites.

Clay personality meme

Doing my own meme because I like it. Positive: Charming- There is just something UTTERLY likable about Clay, the way he smiles, the way he talks. His deep calm voice and gestures. This is someone you can -trust- and rely on, right? Considerate- For all his double-facedness, Clay does in fact have limits and tries to consider those he is closests to whenever his plots start to bear fruit. He will be your drunk night designated driver and give you soup when you are sick. As long as you are in his inner circle. Patient- Though he absolutely dislikes being called this, Clay has the urru ability to just wait and see. He is in no rush most of the time and can easily mask his waiting as simple laziness. Neutral: Sheltered- Clay grew up in the Castle and in the very real decadent court that is the Court of the Crystal. Thus, a lot of his opinions and biases are formed from what he has heard or been taught. He does visit Har'rar sometimes, but Clay is not a 'boots on the ground' person by any means. Family-oriented- Family is everything to Clay, no matter how distant. To family, he is a lot more caring and patient than he is to strangers. This also means those who do not appericate their family gain his ire faster. Scheming- Naturally, Clay schemes and plots. If he can get anything off a stranger with his schemes, it is a good day. However, these schemes can be over things like better health-care for a town or less taxing trade routes for the armaligs. Negative: Classist- Clay is a LORD of the Crystal and expects others to know it. He is fully convinced that the skeksis clan rank system is justified and looks down his snout on 'lesser' clans. Nevermind the mystics of the Valley whom he truly considers lesser for never taking part in society. Follower- While Clay has his ambitions, they aren't often truly just for himself. He follows his father in schemes and doesn't really develop anything deeper on his own. Clay is content being Sil's assistant, even when doing so shouldn't be needed or he should question them. Envious- Green eyed monster that he is, Clay envies a lot. He envies his brother for getting by easier, he envies those born as skeksis for never having to tolerate mocking, he envies the good status of his cousins. In general, Clay can be as callous as he father when the mood strikes him.

Speaking calmly and with a voice that makes you feel safe, the urru is none the less far from a wise mystic. UrClay is a manipulator and  schemer, always willing to aid his father’s or his allies’ schemes. Being the Valet puts him in position of handling decorating the skeksis’ rooms, nevermind dressing some of them. Clay always has an ear for secrets. The snob is hardly a carbon copy of the Chamberlain, however. Clay is rather insecure and he tends to find savagery disgusting, showing it very clearly on his snout. Clay is also rather full of hot-air, having no combat experience aside from basic training. He can scrap, but prefers to run when things get heated or someone he cannot manipulate is against him. Clay wants desperately to make his father proud, blind to the affection he already gets from skekSil. In short, he is a snobby wannabe skeksis with none of the spine and all of the smug. Likes: Family, fashion, skeksis culture, ancient history Dislikes: Being an urru, being mocked for being an urru, skekSo Role in the castle: Assistant to his father, a busy-body in general.

📲- Talk about someone/something you dislike, but only pretend to like Uncle skekSo is not exactly his favourite person. Clay understands how things go, he understands his status as an urru AND as Sil's child, but after SCY was given a lot more attention, he is salty. 👁‍🗨- Talk about someone/something you like, but pretend to dislike Despite everything and how much he vocally denies this, Clay does enjoy some parts of being an urru. The full use of four arms, being more sturdy and generally having a clearer head are nice.

🆘 - What does your muse think of poor people? Do they think they’re a waste of space, or do they want to help them? (Answered in another post.) 👨 - What is your muse’s relationship like with their father? Is it good, bad, or complicated? (Sire) VERY complicated. SkekCel tries to be present, but he will always choose his work over Clay. Thus Clay, who is content in the Castle, rarely sees him. He TRIES to accept that Cel has no obligation to him. But given Cel has been a present figure in his life, Clay has no idea where to stand with his sire. 👩 - What is your muse’s relationship like with their mother? Is it good, bad, or complicated? (Birth-father) Clay and skekSil get along very well, given Sil raised Clay almost entirely on his own. They scheme and plot together and uphold the artisan alliance how they can. But Clay is not blind to how limited his social circle is, thank to being related to Sil. There is a secretive feeling of envy for those who aren't as type-casted. Of course, Clay won't ever say this. He loves his father and the family he -has.-
