Yeah :D Atin is very subtle at their flirting (at this point of the story 😉) so you have to be attentive to catch it 😘

Hi! Sorry if this has been asked before but 1) will friendship points continue in the other books? In some ways I hope so because I REALLY want to be best friends with F no matter what! And 2) In book 1, what numbers of friend and flirt are considered marginally interested to getting interested to the most interested the RO is allowed to be in book 1? Sorry to be so specific and sorry if this has been asked before. I'm a bit of a stat happy gamer and I can't find the answer to this. Please help.

Friendship points do continue, but they won’t be in point form anymore. I really want to try and have Wayhaven be something people become immersed in rather than point-collecting or worrying about playing a certain or ‘best’ way.

Stats are definitely not a major focus for Wayhaven :D

Instead, freidn points will add up but the friendship will now show as words, such as ‘barely teammates’ or ‘respected teammates’. These will differ vastly depending on the vampire.

As for your second question, flirt points were only in there to trigger certain scenes. Once you’ve picked your LI for definite in Chapter 15, then the romance will continue without the points.

As for friendship points, you’ll be able to get a sense of that in Book Two ;)

Wait can Atin send the MC 💋?! How did I miss that 🤯?I need to find that option urgently, I ran to replay the demo 1,000 times.

lol it’s in chapter 5 (I think?). When they send you the text messages, but you need to have a certain amount of flirt points in order to get the kissy emoji from Atin :D That’s why I said that the flirt points are important, guys, if you don’t flirt with your RO, you will miss out on some of the romance :D (well, not like the 💋 is so super romantic but it’s a big deal for Atin haha)

I just really love this wip so much so I’ll probably be sending in loads of askes if that’s okay 😅. I also have to say that text feature is soo cool I’ve never seen it done so welll. I also like how if you had been flirting with Atin the emoji they use changes to the lip print one which was really really nice to see.

Aaaahhh I’m glad so many people liked the texts 😄😄😄 Yes, I’m trying to write it so that if the MC keeps flirting with a character, that character will keep giving the MC extra romantic attention through the whole story. Small touches, glances, or a kissy emoji at the end of a text ;)

If flirt points don’t really matter after choosing your romance then do they dissapear or are they turned into friend points? i have plenty of flirt point with M but only 2 friend points with them and i’m worried my progress will be all for nothing because you said they wouldn’t matter in later books? sorry for being a bother! 🖤

It’s never a bother!

Flirt points and friend points are very different.

The flirt points did only count towards triggering certain scenes and won’t convert to friendship points.

But you’ll get different scenes if you are romancing a vampire anyway :D So I wouldn’t worry about points!

Does the amount of Friend/Flirt points have a large impact on the romances (or friendships) themselves? Do they just unlock cool scenes eventually?

The flirt points were only applicable to the scenes in Book One before Chapter 15, just to trigger certain scenes if you had higher flirt points (except in the love triangle, where flirt points will still be tracked to see who the MC’s heart is leaning towards ;) ).

The friend points will be used to trigger certain scenes, yeah. Friendships and bonds will be naturally within the team as you progress through the books, as they usually do when you work closely with people.

But the friend points will be used to see just who the MC is really good friends with, and that might mean certain scenes or moments differ depending on that.

hey sera, I love this book so much and I'm super excited for book two!! also I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss any flirting opportunity and so I would like to ask you what is the maximum flirting points that can be achieved? like is 11 the maximum for A or did I miss something? thanks!!

I am actually not sure! I just added in flirt points where they were appropriate for that individual character, so it’s not like they all have a maximum of 12 or something.

I’m pretty sure you can get quite high for some of them, like A and N. M is possibly a bit lower.

But generally, as long as you pick the flirty options throughout before Chapter 15, you won’t have missed anything! And then after Chapter 15, you don’t need to worry about flirt points (unless you’re doing the love triangle)!

I will be looking into doing a walkthrough at some point in the (probably far) future, so will go into more detail then.

Hi, first of all let me just say I love TWC. The story and the characters are amazing, I'll be looking forward to more of this series. So anyway, Im kind of confused with how the flirt and friendship points work like will the flirt points not mean anything at all in the next book? Will they even still be there or just completely dissappear from the team stats? Even the RO? Cause I was kind of hoping the flirt points would have some influence on them next book or at least be counted as friendship

Friendship points will transfer, flirt points won’t.

Flirting is different than friendship, so I wouldn’t convert those over.

The flirt points were just in there to determine if certain scenes triggered before the scene where you locked in a romance. Once you chose a love interest, flirt points don’t really matter then.

Except in the love triangle, to see just who your MC is favouring ;)

Bold and shy flirt points will start to be tracked though.

But yeah, you can just enjoy the romances without worrying about counting points of anything. Just roleplay your MC how you want to!
