i got a pen stuck in my hair today for two and a half hours today and did not notice until some really attractive stranger on the train slowly came up to me while i had headphones and then slowly leaned forwards and down towards my seated position, reaching a hand out towards my face. i legit thought that this really attractive man was going to just randomly kiss me and i flushed so dark and my eyes got so huge and my mouth was, like, hanging open in surprise - but nope, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration and he reached past my ear and just pulled this pen out from my hair. it was one of those pastel blue gel pens and my hair is pastel blue and my life is a mess and it had somehow gotten tangled in the semi-long hairs on my head and apparently it was sticking straight up? anyways, he pulled back and offered it to me and i literally sat there for a good solid 30 seconds staring at him. and he looked progressively more uncomfortable and finally i snapped out of it and yanked a headphone out and took the pen while he just mumbled “you… uh… it was sticking up… like a bunny ear…” and then shuffled off flushed as dark as i was. OH MY GOD WAS I SO EMBARRASSED. I HAD PUT THAT PEN BEHIND MY EAR LIKE TWO HOURS PREVIOUS WHEN I WAS JOTTING DOWN POETRY AT MY FAVORITE CAFE WHILE CHATTING WITH MY COUSIN. AND I HAD LEFT IT THERE. AND I HAD THOUGHT A STRANGER WAS GOING TO KISS ME AND I HAD LIKE LEANED FORWARD BUT NO. AND HE WAS ATTRACTIVE. GOOD JOB, LÉO YOU SPECIAL FUCK.
