HELLO I HAVE A KNITTING QUESTION FOR ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THE FISH LIPS KISS HEEL

because of the type of pattern on the front of my sock, the row gauge is off enough that the back of the sock has met the "start heel here" line while the front of the sock is still about half an inch away

Should I start the heel now (as the back of the sock is the correct length), or should I knit until the front of the sock is the correct length (making the back of the sock go past the line)?
