💧Float 🏞 A new canvas piece I painted the other day after spending some time in a float tank. The feeling of weightless abandon in a vast pitch black space is so rejuvenating. I always end up exploring so many realms and aspects of my own psyche as the layers peel away before dropping into empty space to just float. It wasn't my first float, and it definitely won't be my last. But it was my first time in a float pod and it was very cozy. I felt cradled and safe in this egg. And since you float in the dark, I thought it perfect to have this piece glow in the dark, so it is actually super brilliant at night as well, with the water lines looking like wings and her body glowing like galaxies at night. This piece really unveiled itself to me after the float and I sat down with some acrylic paint and no plans at all. It surprised me at what appeared on the canvas. This painting happened so fast, I didn't expect it.
