i have no words i have no fucking words. sorry the article is in french but i cant find any good article in english right now. those are the important points:

on august 18th, a 46 year old disabled man known as JP died live on kick. he was a co-streamer on a french channel that is very popular in france, with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. this channel was managed by 2 young men in their 20s (i'll call them his abusers from now on) who routinely humiliated JP, both verbally and physically. there is also another disabled man (Coudoux) who was abused by them (as far as i know they may have been more victims)

JP died in his sleep at the end of a 280 hours live marathon during which his abusers did the usual violence and also deprived him of sleep. which is literal torture. the abusers only realized he died because some viewers in chat were telling them he stopped breathing. they cut the livestream shortly after.

there is currently an investingation to determine the cause of JP's death from a legal point of view, but the abusers were already being investigated since january, after Mediapart released an article that revealed serious grounds for accusing them of group torture on vulnerable people (i dont have the details because this is a paid article)

my point of view is that ableism kills. this poor man was a literal punching bag for his abusers. they gained MONEY from torturing him live, with their viewers encouraging them to hit him more and more by giving donations.

this is fucking disgusting. kick is a disgusting platform as they allowed all that to happen.

it's based on this pattern with a few changes (i skipped the antennae, made the arms poseable and made custom eyes that are just a mc with 6sc then increase all around with hdc/dc+picot/hdc for the pointy bits)

i played yarn chicken and i won btw 😎
