Over Easter I had the opportunity doing some work experience for a new kids show ‘Floogals’ at Jelly Fish Pictures. I got to shadow one of the recent graduate animators for an afternoon as she animated a lip sync sequence on Maya which was very interesting to see how other people use the software, besides what we are taught in Falmouth. I also got to see the pre production side, analyzing storyboards/animatics ect in the meeting with the producers and head animators. Was a very interesting week, seeing how an actual studio runs for such a commercial show. Cant wait to go back in June to see the live action takes and have a better look at production!
