i know writers probably sound like a broken record at this point but, genuinely, i don't think readers understand how demotivating it is to have 80 likes and 10 reblogs on a post. like . we've said again and again likes do absolutely Nothing for us, we need people to reblog posts so it reaches a wider audience. i don't understand why it's such a hassle for readers to simply reblog a fic they like
