Unlucky Circumstances [Martino and Katsuro]
How Katsuro could ever wind up in this sort of circumstance, he didn't know. He didn't know what he did to the big, stupid monster to make it suddenly rush at him, nor did he know where he intended to run to. All he knew was, that there was something big and scary chasing him for no apparent reason, and he was going to die if he stopped running. Or at least, come close to death. So, he persisted, sprinting across the area as fast as he could.
Dorimon, who was clinging onto Katsuro's shoulder for dear life, was screaming in a high-pitched voice. He put up a brave front, yes, but he didn't actually expect to fight so early in the little adventure, and especially not against such a huge, scary digimon. He wished he could digivolve; he really, really did. Maybe then he could stand up to the digimon and knock him away. But, he couldn't. And so he was stuck clinging onto Katsuro's shoulder.
"Katsuro, do something!" Dorimon shrieked.
"What do I do? I don't even know what the heck this thing is!" Katsuro yelled back, leaping over some tree branch that was in his way.
"I dunno, you're bigger than me!" Dorimon yelled back.
"That doesn't mean- Ugh, never mind!" Katsuro looked around, desperately looking for somewhere he could run to, or at least hide in. "Hang on!"
He took a sharp left, stumbling a little to regain his balance. He ran in a zigzag pattern for a little while, until he couldn't hear the monster anymore. He sighed, resting against a tree to catch his breath. "You... You okay?" he asked Dorimon. The small, blue digimon nodded.
"Y-yeah." Katsuro smiled and was about to chuckle when a snarl came from beside him. Slowly, he turned to see the same monster facing him, growling. Oh... well, darn.
"Don't move, Dorimon," he murmured. He looked around, searching for anything, anything he could use to defend himself. Sadly, there was nothing, save a couple of useless twigs on the floor. Well, Katsuro wasn't going to go down without a fight. He stared at the monster in the eye, glaring at it. He wouldn't admit it, but he sort of wished that someone would help him out, right about now.
