She never saw eye to eye with her parents. Mark and Alison Dearborn were a bit less thrilled with their daughter because she wasn't like her brother. The one thing that her parents always respected her for was her loyalty and love for others.

biography
Florence Dearborn is a rather curious individual. Upon entering Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat didn't really know what to do with her. She had equal amounts of qualities for Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and even Slytherin. But she chose Hufflepuff because "It was unexpected". She was brave when the situation called for it, and she was eternally loyal to those who got through her caddy exterior. But there was also part of herself that had a dark quality; something she was terrified of. Florence could also talk her way out of anything. And that proved benificial as she moved through her years at Hogwarts.
She was never one for following the rules. Rules were too binding. She wanted to do what was fun, not what was expected or required. And, usually, she wouldn't get caught. Usually. When she was found out for things like sneaking into the Gryffindor common room, or flying around the Quidditch pitch at four in the morning, she could usually talk her way out of detention. Again, usually. Every now and then, she would be sent into detention with McGonagall, and would smile at the infamous Marauders from across the room.
In her fourth year, she was placed on the Quidditch team as a Seeker, and fell in love with the sport. Mainly, because she loves to fly. She was never very into academics, slacking off, and 'just passing' things. But, that didn't mean she was dumb. Florence was quite clever, and could easily achieve anything she put her mind to. It was just too much work. She would rather be out at a party. Though, if she had to choose, her favorite subject would be Charms and Herbology. She enjoyed Defense Against The Dark Arts, but she couldn't even fathom using a spell to hurt anyone, no matter how bad. Violence was something she didn't take part in. She wasn't against it, but to hurt another person just wasn't something she wanted to achieve. Inside a rather cool exterior, she was incredibly caring, and loving to a fault. Like a true Hufflepuff, she was kind and loyal.
Florence is pretty awesome. She has a huge thing for Sirius Black, and isn't afraid to tell him so. Although, her crush on Amos Diggory was pretty huge, and if you put her in a room with Dedalus Diggle, she would blush, and deny it feverently. As for her and other boys, they were fun, but replaceable. She could flirt with a brick wall if she tried hard enough.
But, don't compare her to Marlene McKinnon. You will never hear the end of it.
