Sky High 'Verses
Madeleine: Maddy’s the eldest daughter of two highly regarded -mad- enthusiastic scientists who were delighted that at least one of their children was as brilliant as them. They were… less pleased with her determination to use her abilities to help others, instead of, y’know, making absurd amounts of money and gaining status in the superhuman community. They finally worked out a compromise: Sky High is a school for heroes. Sky High students—and their parents—are generally well regarded among supers. Send Maddy to Sky High, and everyone’s happy! She’s still an angry little person, but at least she can channel it into something worthwhile. Like intraspatial portals. Portals are worthwhile. Sarah: Sarah is the younger daughter of two highly regarded mad enthusiastic scientists who were a little disappointed to find that their less rebellious child was also less inclined towards academia. At least she’s got powers; they can leverage their dual status as researchers and parents of an SH student to further their private goals. The little speedster herself is just thrilled to be attending Sky High, if a little sad that she’s leaving her junior high school’s fencing club. Ellie: Mom was a hero, died in action. Dad…might actually be a spy, what with all the traveling and being wierdly chummy with heroes and villains alike, but regardless, although he’s in the know, he’s not around much. Ellie can sense people’s fear, and sometimes increase it. She’s a bit worried about that, actually, because it seems more like a villain-y sort of power. But she’s probably okay on that front, because whoever heard of a supervillain who was scared of everything? Tag: phobopath!ellie
