"My grandma was a self taught witch and would brew potions in the swamps around Jubilee Port...One of the memories I have is of her drinking this tea blend she made up on the porch while I looked for frogs."
Based on Labrador tea or bog tea and the potion Mama Odie makes in The Princess and the Frog. Furo loves tea and truly shines as a Pomefiore student when at a tea party. They know the rules and is pretty good at differentiating at least between black, herbal, and white teas. They get it from their dad's side, and it was also how they learned to forage.
Ronald:
"Not only can I be rough-and-tumble, but I can be sofisticated too! Is there anything I can't do?"
He can't stand tea. Or coffee really. Tea just tastes like hot grass water and coffee tastes like bitter old folks. He likes hot chocolate, specifically the ones made with white chocolate melts. He got dragged to a few tea times at the nursing home so he knows tea party rules, he just always had hot chocolate in the cup instead.
Florian:
"Dolores did what?! Oh my how interesting. Well, I had heard that..."
Boy loves spilling tea during tea time. He is picky about what you put in front of him. Coffee, tea, whatever unholy creation you happen to place in front of him when he is to enthralled with a story. Has an iron stomach. May say something along the lines of "Oh, that has a bit of bite to it. Did you steep this long?"
Phoebus:
"Look at how the cream ripples into these pretty designs...Wow...Aww, it’s fading away. I guess I should drink then.”
Phoebus likes latte art, so he tends to get lattes. Could be tea-based lattes or coffee based, he just wants to look at the cool designs done. It calms him down. You won’t see him drinking it often, though. He doesn’t like drinking things other than water too often. If you get him on a day that he feels like treating himself, he will gladly take a cup offered to him.
Mortimer:
“Ah, ah, ah! Hold that thought...*sip* Haa~ such a lovely blend. Smooth going down, and warms you up. Gives me the tingles. Hm? Oh, I just didn’t want your chatter to ruin my beverage.”
Based on raspberry tea and the champagne Professor Ratigan drinks in The Great Mouse Detective. Mortimer has no particular feeling towards tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or any other drink. If it makes him seem elite, then he will drink it. If it tastes bad, he will make himself like it. He is slightly more inclined to drink berry flavored drinks.
Tido:
“I-I made dish dwink myself! I-I like da col-color of it! You want shome? I’ll make it extra, extra special for ya! It got bwuebewwies, mint, and shimple shyrup! W-wait while I go make, make it.”
Tido likes to make drinks more than drink them, but he does try what he makes to see if it is good or not. He is an impatient type, so hot drinks are a no go. He will burn his tongue 100% of the time he is given a hot drink. So cold teas are the closest he’ll get. He’ll have tea parties with his dolls frequently though!
🎁 - How do they feel about their birthday/birthdays in general?
🤔 - What’s something they’ll never understand?
🎨 - What’s their favorite color?
For all your ocs! XD
🎁 - How do they feel about their birthday/birthdays in general?
Furo:
They do not like their birthday. If they could get away with people not knowing when it was, they totally would. There are two reasons why they don't like it. 1) Family always insisted on inviting everyone for a party. Family and village members. Too many people all at once and Furo was the center of everything. A common conversation during the middle of the party:
Furo: Daddy, when is everyone leaving?
Furo's dad: Not for another few hours.
Furo: Okay...Daddy, when can I leave?
Furo's dad: You can't leave.
Furo: Dang it...
2) Bad things always seem to happen around their birthday. Now yes, they were prone to getting into sticky situations, but they were pretty tame most days. The really bad things always happened either the day before or day of their birthday. Some years nothing happened, but it was very infrequent.
Because of these things, Furo doesn't really do much for birthdays for others. They'll wish the person well and if they are close will give a gift. Furo usually needs to be persuaded to join a party.
Ronald:
Ronald is actually pretty indifferent towards birthdays. When you spend every day celebrating your existence, your birthday doesn't really stand out. He mostly sees it as a day he can get more model building supplies and when people don't look as annoyed if he boasts. Ron will just act how he usually does on his or someone else's birthday. It'll be energetic and vibrant. He honestly will forget his own birthday is coming up. Someone else will need to remind him.
Florian:
Absolutely loves birthdays! He will throw a party and invite everyone he knows. It's a perfect excuse to gather together and be social. His Aunt and Uncle would actually put a cap on how many people he could invite. The misery! How could he possibly choose between all the amazing people he has come to know? He doesn't even care about gifts; he just wants people gathered around him. It is the one day you will not have to worry about him waking up late or falling asleep in the middle of the day.
If you tell this happy skunk your birthday, you have to tell him very clearly if you don't want it to be a big deal. Otherwise, he will throw you the largest surprise party. Granted, he will do his best to cater it towards your taste, but he will crank it up about ten notches. Flo will invite people that you won't even know, but he knows them and thinks you'll get along great, so they should come too! If you try to hide when your birthday is, he will be very sad. Has a planner filled solely with people's birthdays.
Phoebus:
Forced quality time with his brother because they share a birthday? Wonderful! The type to wait till midnight to call him and be the first to wish him happy birthday. The one day he has an excuse to bombard Kell with all the pent-up affection he has and Kell takes it without much of a fuss. Bonus, Kell even gives Phoebus affection willingly on their birthday! Phoebus couldn't care less about what others are doing that day. It is the one day he doesn't worry about the future and stays in the moment. It's a sweet day.
He isn't really concerned with other people's birthdays. He doesn't try to be inconsiderate! Phoebus just forgets until it's the day of. To combat this though, he keeps a stockpile of possible gifts for people he cares about. Wrapped and tagged and ready to just be pulled from the depths of its hiding place. Will look terrified when he finds out the day is your birthday and will run to get the gift. Gifts may be something you like, or a completely random thing that is accompanied by a "It'll be of use soon".
Mortimer:
It's...complicated. He likes his birthday because it's one of the few days he felt his dad actually cared about him, but on the other hand it's one of the few days he felt his dad actually cared about him. Mortimer enjoyed the affection he got on that day, but as he got older it just became a bitter taste in his mouth. He respects birthdays, his sister will note it is the only day he seems to be more real with himself. No fake smiles, no manipulative remarks, no backhanded comments. Mort is just tired and uses this day to reset.
He takes this mindset to other people's birthdays as well. He won't try to be nasty. He'll just let the person take a break. His sister's birthday an example where he will just be very honest with her. If she asks him to do something with/for her, he will accept, but make it very clear he is just giving her the same courtesy he expects on his birthday.
Tido:
Okay, so on his bio it says his birthday is March 21st, but that is kind of made up. Tido doesn't know when his actual birthday is. When the villagers asked him about his age and birthday, Tido could only shrug. Did not know what a birthday was. He just remembers waking up in early-mid spring and stumbling about. So, the villagers took that and made an estimated guess for when he woke up again and slapped a birthday label on it.
He still doesn't understand how birthdays work, but he's getting the hang of it! You give people a thing to celebrate them gaining consciousness! Right?
🤔 - What’s something they’ll never understand?
Furo:
The difference between friendship and romance. Furo is somewhere between demiromantic and grey-romantic. They know there is a slight difference in feeling romantic attraction and just wanting to be friends with a person, but gosh darn is it hard to find! Knows what flirting is! It may take them a hot second to realize it if they are the ones being flirted with, but Furo does understand that!
If someone questions them, oh Great Seven, Furo will stare blankly as they try to answer. Playing 20-questions is the only way for them to get close to figuring out if they like someone as just a friend or more. Even afterwards the likelihood of Furo just being like "I know I said I wouldn't mind smooching or cuddling Person A, and I get all fuzzy with them, but it's normal to want to cuddle with friends and feel happy with them. Right?"
Call them out. Hit them with examples of "this is definitely romantic and not platonic". It's the only way. And be prepared to do it all over again very soon.
Ronald:
He is not immortal. He very much can die, and it can happen over the simplest things. Ronald knows what pain is, but it's like his brain just glosses over that fact when he is thinking about doing something. You can explain it to him in the simplest way possible, you can save him from being crushed/eaten/ burnt to a crisp and he'll just say "See! I'm fine!"
I wouldn't not be offended if you chose to throw him back into the danger.
If the person gets upset, truly, over his recklessness, Ronny will get so worried. He doesn't want to worry people, that's the last thing he wants! Ronald isn't ignorant about death, but he just can't see the harm of running over the rickety ravine if he has to get to the otherside.
Florian:
Why his parents had to die.
moving on...
Phoebus:
Cutting his hair will not end the world. He never even saw a timeline where that happened, and yet he will squeal if you try to cut his hair as if it will. He will come up every excuse under the sun as to why he cannot cut his hair. Even now, if someone were to suggest it, Phoebus will throw a mini tantrum. Kell also doesn't cut his hair, but it's because he didn't want Phoebus to feel bad about not wanting his hair cut. Even with their rocky relationship, Kell still won't cut his hair until Phoebus does.
Other than that, he doesn't care about what happens with his hair really. Phoebus makes sure it doesn't get matted, but that's about it. If he were to wake up to find someone cut his hair in the middle of the night...he will never leave his bunker.
Mortimer:
Why his father dislikes him. He can't recall what he possibly could have done as a child to warrant the blatant difference in treatment, but if that's how it's going to be then he won't fight back about it anymore. He'll just be the horrible son.
Mortimer even tried to look into his mom to see if there was something there. Like, his mom got sick after giving birth to him or something. Even if it was a stupid reason, at least it was a reason. But nothing. No info on what happened to her. It's like she just...vanished. And with that so was his hopes of trying to mend this relationship.
Tido:
Tido! You can't just leave your leg in the middle of the courtyard!
He isn't really used to his prosthetic. Tido will either forget about it and start his day with only one leg, or he will take it off in the middle of the day and forget it somewhere. No matter how often he gets scolded, he keeps doing it. He also uses it as a prop for skits.
Tido was in the woods for a long time and was agile enough to maneuver with only one leg. He didn't find the village and get his leg until a long while afterwards. While it does make life easier, sometimes he just gets annoyed with it and throws it aside.
🎨 - What’s their favorite color?
Furo:
Aqua/teal. Most of their wardrobe outside of school is in the gradient of blue and green with complimenting colors
Ronald:
Pink. It reminds him of the blossom in the trees at spring.
Florian:
Yellow. Nice sunshine color that makes him feel all fuzzy and sleepy. He just wants to rub it in his face, but he will settle for his tail instead.
Phoebus:
Magenta. It reminds him of his mother. She always wore magenta lipstick because it reminded her of pomegranates.
9. Do they have a word or phrase that they tend to overuse?
10. What is a weird quality that they have (ie their hands are always cold, they're always hungry, they snort when they laugh, etc)?
Furo:
5. They are simultaneously the best and worst at lying. They giggle. They will start giggling when they lie. Furo is aware that they do this, so when they have to lie, and the other party has not caught on to this fact yet, they will play it off that the idea is so absurd they couldn't help but laugh.
If the person is aware of this fact, then Furo will try their hardest to suppress the giggles, which will turn into hiccups. So now, they are giggling and hiccupping as they try to fib. It does not turn out well.
"Hmm? Keekee, do you think I would do that? Well, keke, that is funny. I'd-pft...I'd never do that!"
9. Furo doesn't really have words or phrases that they use more than others. They do tend to slip into a parental tone often. When that happens, their voice becomes floatier and lighter. If the person they are talking to is someone they consider their child, that person will be referred to as "dearie", "sweetie", or "sweetheart".
This is something that they aren't specifically aware of. If you point it out to them, they will correct themselves, but otherwise it is something that just fizzles in and out.
"Oh, are you okay dearie? Here, let me see if I have something nice to give you...Would you like a pebble?"
10. What weird quality don't they have? Besides the whole...treasure thing, Furo keeps a handwritten bestiary of everything they write. They often keep it with them in their pile of textbooks and when they go on hikes with the Mountain Appreciation Club. Furo will rattle off facts about all the animals they can turn into and those they are learning to turn into under their breath.
If you catch them when they are intensely studying, you may be able to hear them reciting the notes in the animal language corresponding to the entry they are on. It will take them a moment to collect themselves after that, so there is a possibility they will respond in the animal language.
"Manatees have nostrils instead of blowholes...They communicate through squeaks when submerged..."
Ronald:
5. His nose crinkles and wiggles. There is actually a little story to it. When he was little, he went on a fishing trip with one of the neighboring old folks. He wasn't supposed to go snooping around, but he did cause he's a big brave buck! Well, long story short he got a snapping turtle to the nose and when questioned he was lying through his teeth and wiggling his bleeding nose all the way.
Now, it's sort of a muscle memory thing. Whenever he lies, his nose starts hurting and he ends up scrunching it and moving it side to side. He hates it.
"Y-yeah! I've totally casted that spell before! I could do it with my magic pen behind my back!"
9. He will say that he is an awesome buck any chance he gets. Boasting is his primary form of communication. Even when he is complimenting someone else, somehow, he will fit a compliment for himself in there. The exact wording will change, but the meaning stays the same.
Ron knows what he is doing. No, he will not stop. Gotta have that self love and confidence!
“There isn’t much that I can’t do! I’m a growing buck ready to take on the world!”
10 was answered here!
Florian:
5. He does not have a tell. You will not be able to tell when this sweet boy is pulling your leg or not. He thinks he has a tell, but even when he tries to explain it, others tend to shake their head. Flo’s poker face is on another level. He looks angelic and slightly dazed no matter what happens. Even when he is scared, he just has this pleasant, wide-eyed smile.
“Oh yeah, I love tea!”
9. “Well I heard...” often starts off his sentences. What follows is sure to raise eyebrows. It can either be something useful, a piece of gossip, or just some random nonsense that has nothing to do with the conversation!
“Well, I heard that honeycombs are a wonderful treat! Even the wax!”
10. Florian is always sleepy. He is known to fall asleep in classes often. It’s not because he has a poor sleep schedule, he just...dozes off! Some teachers get mad, and others have learned to let him be. Florian isn’t failing any classes yet, so they just let him do what he does. If his grades start to fall, then they’ll do something about it.
That being said, he can stay awake. He can push through sometimes, but yawns are common and heavy eyelids are a must. Coupled with him being hard to wake up, this leads to him just being carried around sometimes.
“zzzz...”
Phoebus:
5. Another one with no tell when he lies. Granted, he isn’t one to lie often. The only thing he’ll lie about is if he sees a really bad possible outcome with his unique magic. And he technically doesn’t lie, he just deflects and refuses to answer. Lie by omission! If he does truly lie, he’s just gets jittery, and he does that for practically everything.
If he ever did lie to someone, it wouldn’t be long before he tattled on himself. He just can’t deal with lying to people.
“I’d rather not say anything...Oh, did you see that Magishift game last night?”
9. “It’s possible.” That is his response to almost everything. If you ask him a question, you will get this as an answer first. If prompted, he will give a more acceptable answer. He also starts his suggestions like this. Everything is a possibility for him, so he makes sure to remind others of that. Not everything is set in stone.
If people get annoyed, which they often do with his future tendencies, he’ll more mumble this part as he tries to get what he wants to say out.
“It’s possible that you won’t have to deal with detention if you can assure Professor Trein is out of his classroom at exactly 1:32 pm.”

Mortimer:
5. His eye will twitch. It is very subtle, and it also happens when he is angry. It’s a toss-up as to which reason it might be for whoever he’s interacting with. He is aware of this tell and is very strategic as to how to cover it up. Can’t have people knowing he is pulling the rug out from under them. If someone points it out, he has a plethora of excuses to use to quell their suspicions.
Mortimer picked up the trait from having to interact with his little sister. The annoyance and constant need to shelter her with falsehoods mingled together and manifested in his eye twitch. It used to just be a tick for when he was angry.
“That is an extravagant idea! I could never have thought of something that like!”
9. He doesn’t repeat many phrases. He finds it annoying, both if he does it or if someone else does. He spent a lot of time expanding his vocabulary, so he might as well use it. If people just keep saying the same thing, it is more likely that their audience tunes them out, and he doesn’t want that.
Mortimer doesn’t want to be predictable. The first thing to that is to always keep what he says fresh. Keep the other person wondering what he will say next, be it nice or not.”
“Now just is it that you want from me? You’re spouting the same nonsense, just with different words.”
10. Mortimer absolutely despises that he can do this. He will repress the urge with all his might. He overanalyzes toys. From baby rings, cat toys, to dolls and figurines. Mortimer will pick them apart and judge the craftsmanship and integrity of it. It is a reflex habit from being raised as a toymaker’s son.
That is why he avoids as much as possible. He can’t help going to get Francine new toys and accessories, so that is when he does it the most. Don’t ask to go with him.
“Ugh, such cheap craftsmanship. Mass production really takes out the integrity for such things.”
Tido:
5. He squeezes his right thigh. When Tido lies, he gets phantom pains in his leg, and he tries to message it out. He is really bad at lying to others. But the funny part is, people just let it be because they don’t want to keep this stuttering fae struggling to come up with something. Tido will look to be in serious pain.
He can’t keep secrets because of this. For both parties involved, do not entrust Tido with secrets. It will not turn out how either want it to.
“Ah, me-my l-leg ish hurting, bad, bad l-like.”
9. “I don’t know” or “I don’t remember” are phrases that Tido often uses while “boss” is his favorite word to use. He has a rough time remembering anything, taking small chunks at a time. Tido doesn’t do to well on tests or when remembering lines. So, it isn’t uncommon to hear him say that he doesn’t recall things.
Tido doesn’t know why he likes the word boss so much, he thinks/hopes it has something to do with his past. He only calls people he likes boss voluntarily.
“I-I don’t remem-mem-member, B-bossh!”
10. Tido will never sit with his back exposed. He will sit so that he faces the exits, with his back as close to a wall as possible. He’ll just do this subconsciously and if asked... “I don’t know”. He’ll get really fidgety if he can’t find a seat like that. He just likes being able to see everything and scan the room easily.
It usually doesn’t cause any pressure, but if someone tries to walk behind him when he isn’t in a seat, he gets really scary and out of character. He’ll grab onto whoever walks behind him and for a moment he gets this glare in his eyes. But, a split second later he’s back to his usual self, apologizing.
“Ah! Sh-showy! D-don’t know, know what c-came over-ver me dere!”
A random student, average in appearance, runs up to them. "Hello!" they say. "What is your opinion," they point to a certain silver-haired girl "on that young woman? Yumeko Komi Junko Amane!"
(i was gonna ask this normally but i'm doing this because i was inspird by that one scene in the bee movie.)
Furo:
"Hello? Who?" Furo backed away from the random student. They looked out to where they pointed to the young girl. "Oh, Yumeko? I've seen her around Pomefiore on occasion. Such a sweet girl. I haven't talked to her much, but she's a good child. Why do you ask? Is she having trouble?"
Ronald:
"Why? Is she a fan?" Ronald smirked. "I know I'm up-and-coming, but she shouldn't feel shy talking to me. My mom taught me humility, I know how to tone down my awesomeness to talk to others." He waved over at the girl smuggly. He cupped his mouth and yelled out. "Don't be shy! Come on over and say hi!"
Florian:
"Ah!" Florian clutched his tail tighter. He was just at NRC for a basketball game, he didn't expect to be questioned. "Uh, um, I don't know. What is she like? Any fun stories to share? Huh? Well yeah I could go ask myself...but where's the fun in that?"
Phoebus:
"She's wonderful. She brushes my hair sometimes and lets me bounce conspiracy theories off her every once in a while," Phoebus smiled. "Tell her I said hi when fall over later. Oh, well there is a 45% chance you'll trip over your own toes when you go back to talk to Yume. Have a nice trip now!"
Tido:
"L-like da Liddle Lady! Sh-Sweet she is, is!" Tido bounced. "Kind, kind to da, da dollsh I got. Wa-watch mushicals wid me!"
Mortimer:
"Ah, Miss Yumeko. Yes, Tido is very fond of her. Always a great boost to his morale you see." Mortimer chuckled. "Hm? My views? Well, she keeps my little henchman happy and is a great asset in my deeds as well. Do I need to explain more?"
Hello hello~ Don't mind me asking some silly little questions about your characters!
Let's see~
1) How do your OCs fare in flying class?
Is someone afraid of flying/heights? Is someone enthusiastic about it? Do any of them have a particular style or pose (like how Cater and Leona stand on the broom, Idia and Floyd hang off it, Jade hugs it, etc.)? Does anyone use something other than a broom to fly?
2) If you had to pick only one, which canon character do you see being your OC's closest friend?
I don't mind at all!
1) Flying class
Furo: "Why should I use a broom when I can just turn into an albatross? Or even a house fly? It's much easier to move that way."
Furo isn't afraid of heights, but they aren't great with a broom. They got their unique magic before they learned how to ride a broom, so if they ever had or wanted to fly Furo just turned into a creature that could do so. When they are on a broom, they sit side-saddle on it (sort of like a swing) and lean on their hands. The pose that they would do if they got a "perfect" in game they would let go with their hands and fiddle with something they found before almost falling and straightening themselves out.
Ronald: "I could get used to the wind in my hair! You can go so much faster in the air than on land! Let's see how high I can really go!"
Ronny loves when he gets to fly on a broom. He has no fear in anything in life (please, he has no flight response when it comes to danger this kid is bound to die at least five times a day) and will just go until he crashes. He sits on the broom like a bike for the most part, with his head bent forward so his horns are protruding out. Ronny's pose if he got a "perfect" in game would be him balancing on the vertical broom like was a pirate (I picture the scene with Jim form Treasure Planet).
Florian: "I'm okay...but please don't expect anything grand. Oh, and if you see me start to fall, please catch me haha..."
Flo does not like flying. He gets nauseous by the swaying and if too high gets dizzy. If asked, he'd say he isn't afraid of heights, but body language says he is frightened. He clutches the broom stiffly and is just a statue on the broom most of the time. In his "perfect" pose in game, his chest is pressed down into the broom and his tail wraps around his face.
Phoebus: "I am not getting on that cleaning death trap!! No way in the underworld! Just fail me all already~!"
No. Just no. Phoebus would rather crawl for the rest of his life. Do you know how many ways things could go wrong up there?! Not to mention when the world comes to an end someone flying in the air is either getting smog down their throats full force or be a flashing target. If you somehow manage to get this tall boy on a broom, he is strapping himself on like he is a piece of oversized luggage. A "perfect" in game for him would be his terrified face as he is turned upside down.
2) Canon Friends
Furo: Jade. I actually wrote a whole mini thing of how they became friends here. Summary, Jade fuels and enables Furo's gremlin tendencies and Furo enables his mushroom obsession. Furo tends to find things that are deadly cute (blame all the cute animals that are poisonous and their father) so they treat Jade like a big puppy. Jade finds this hilarious and milks it for all it's worth.
Ronald: Deuce. I can see them bonding over Magical Wheels and being raised by single mothers. Ronny would totally ask Deuce to race him at every possible moment. Think those loud dudes in high school that see each other down the hall and yell "BRO!" at each other before running headfirst into one pulling the other into a noogie.
Florian: At RSA, probably Chenya. I can see Chenya being Florian's gossip buddy. Just telling him all the crazy things he saw while invisible while Florian eats it all up. Plus, I can see Florian enjoying the game of hide-and-seek that comes with being close with the mischievous cat. In all, Florian is more of a social floater if that makes sense. He more goes from group to group and fits in with many without getting closer to one person in general. Florian tends to be the connection between many groups that you wouldn’t think would interact.
Phoebus: Ortho. This was really hard to determine, but Phoebus probably clings to Ortho a lot more than any of the other characters. Ortho’s ability to be prepared for practically anything draws Phoebus in. He might get closer to Idia as a result, but Ortho would still be the focus of it all.
Inspired by @zackcrazyvalentine and @sugarandmelody doing it for their OCs
Furo:
They actually don't like having pillows. They will end up shifting in their sleep so that the pillow is pushed away from their head. They have a hard time falling asleep without a blanket or something similar covering them. They aren't much of a cuddle, but if they have a stuffed animal or person with them then they end up laying on top of the companion or pining them under their arm. They sleep on their stomach with their arms curled above/by their head. Will talk in their sleep, but it's a toss up if what they say is coherent or not. Drools. Wears a bonnet to sleep to keep their hair tidy. HEAVY SLEEPER!! Will sleep through basically anything. You will have to shake them and yell repeatedly to wake them up. If they wake up easily, then they weren't fully asleep.
Synopsis- Ragdoll Sleeper
Ronald:
He has minimal things on his bed. Light blankets, minimal pillows, and NO STUFFED ANIMALS. He doesn't like being held, but doesn't mind someone pressing up against him. Just be careful, because he does kick in his sleep. Hard. He himself will wake up with mystery bruises, so I'd someone is in close proximity they will too. He sleeps on his back mostly, but will sleep on his side on occasion. Light sleeper, but falls back asleep easily. Is a grouch if woken up too often though. Can't fall asleep if there is light in the room, so if he is really tired but it isn't dark yet, then he will wear a sleep mask.
Synopsis- Sensitive, but Chill Sleeper
Florian:
Angel. Aetherial. It would be a shame to wake him up. He is a hugger in his sleep. Whatever is in his arms is not being released. Usually hugs his tail to sleep, so he is is curled up in a ball on his side. Snores softly, but isn't noticeable right away. While he can sleep through most things, he is easy to wake up. BLANKETS! PILLOWS! STUFFED ANIMALS! He will dissappear into a nest of them to sleep. If you don't pull him out of this nest, he will go back to sleep in an instant. Let's his hair down and wakes up with it in his mouth most days.
Synipsis- Cherub on a Cloud Sleeper
Phoebus:
Don't watch him sleep. You'll give yourself anxiety. He sleeps on his back and holds the edges of the covers by his chin. If he doesn't have weighted blanket, he will twitch a lot. He smiles in his sleep, but he is clenching his jaw while he does so. Keeps many objects by his bedside "just in case" (don't ask unless you want to hear the 15 ways you can lose a toe without ___ ). He is quick to fall asleep and wake up. Wakes up like a vampire . Just sits right up, bright eyed and bushy tailed with no warning. You will never see this man groggy or sleepy. He is either wide awake or asleep. No in-between.
Hi Furo! I was curious about your ocs. I don't know any of them yet, but are any of them good cooks?
Also thanks for your ask earlier and hope you're doing good 💫
Hiya! You are welcome, and I am doing fine!
So for my Ocs there are two groups I guess. There are the ones I made for the game Twisted Wonderland and the ones for my book Eternal Entities.
From my Twisted Ocs, most of them cannot cook/never learned 😅. Florian Meadows, a flowery skunk beastkin based off of Flower from Disney's Bambi, is the most likely to cook out of all of them, but it would have to be very simple dishes. Otherwise, you risk eating burnt food. Another is Mortimer Padriac, who is based off of Professor Ratigan from Disney's The Great Mouse Detective. He can cook, and very well at that, he just hates the hassle of it all. So unless he has to cook, either for himself or if he he forced to cook for others for any reason, he will not go towards the kitchen.
Now, onto my OCs for Eternal Entities, out of the main characters Nağme Saor is the best cook and is in charge of cooking the majority of the time during their journey. She is an avinian, a species of birds able to take a humanoid form, that grew up being close friends to the crown prince due to her older brother. Since she was in the palace all the time, she learned how to cook from the palace chefs. Her brother, Aavistus, can cook crude meals (he did raise her after all, but didn't have the means to cook well). Then there is Vanajja, a former pirate that they are traveling with. She isn't a picky eater, so her cooking is just throwing in edible things into the fire for the sole purpose of not getting sick. She couldn't care less about taste or texture or what not, as long as it is edible and keeps her alive. Valgus Taeva is the crown prince of an empire, so yeah...he has never cooked anything for himself before. He can start campfires, but that is the end of his helpfulness. Then, there is a djin called Palsu the Illusionist. They don't eat. It is a literal sentient cloud of pure magic. They don't understand why mortals cook things.
Ahaha! I'm in the mood to try out some new oc dynamics. ^^
"Flory," Irene sighed as she ran a hand through Florian's fluffy tail. "You knew full well it wasn't a good idea to stay and watch that fight, but you did anyways. Must you be so careless with your wellbeing? While I'm at it, why didn't you go and tell a professor? Goodness me."
"Heh, sorry Irene-senpai," Florian tried to give a small smile, but it wasn't much due to the growing black eye he had. He applied the ice pack once more as he continued. "I just got lost in watching them throw punches. It isn't everyday that big of a fight breaks out here."
Flo leaned back and kept going. "Usually the professors are already breaking it up by the time I get to see it. I was gonna go get the Potions Professor, but then the one fighter did this cool clothesline into a headlock move and...Next thing I know I get knocked down and hit with an elbow."
"Precisely why you should have gotten someone right away," Irene sighed. "Just promise me you won't do that again."
"Sorry, senpai. I can't promise you that," Florian sighed along with them. "But I can make you a bouquet!"
