One part of the project included conducting point counts to survey for birds other than kestrels in the forest. 

This video was taken at one such point location and you can see and hear Florida scrub jay angrily calling at us to move away. We assumed that they most likely had a nest in the area. We were out of there as quickly as possible so as to cause the least amount of disturbance.
