Today was so great!!

After staying up late last night drinking with my husband, we had no plans of waking up at 630 this morning... But we did! We decided to stay awake instead of going back to sleep and that's when I decided I wanted to do something.

We decided to take an hour drive to Flossenbürg to walk through another Concentration Camp Memorial site as well as hiking up a huge hill to get to some castle ruins. The drive there was wonderful; the music was up and the windows were down the whole time.

When we arrived at the Concentration Camp, we spent about an hour there walking around. When we were ready to leave, we drove to the bottom of the hill where the castle ruins are and we hiked on up. I'll tell you--I go to the gym every day for roughly 2 hours and that hike still kicked my butt. When we got to the top, we explored the ruins and sat to talk for a while overlooking the gorgeous city.

After taking the hike back down, we got in our car and put in "pizza" on the GPS to find a restaurant that serves pizza. We found a little grill a couple towns away and decided to eat there, as well as get some ice cream.

When we got home, we were pooped! We had no intention of doing this, but within 5 minutes of arriving through our front door, we were naked in our bed falling asleep. We took about a 2 hour nap and woke up to pouring rain! It made our home smell so nice, I feel like it was a great way to wake up.

Now we're relaxing playing video games (: I'd say today was perfect.
