Enjoy the rich and decadent flavors of these dark chocolate orange brownies that don't need flour. When you mix intense dark chocolate with tangy orange, you get a delicious treat that's great for any event.
Ingredients: 300g dark chocolate, chopped. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 3 large eggs. 1 tablespoon orange zest. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. Optional: powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. In a heatproof bowl, melt the chopped dark chocolate and butter together in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, orange zest, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until smooth. Sift the cocoa powder over the chocolate mixture and fold it in gently until fully incorporated. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and cut them into squares. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired. Enjoy!
