These Four Layer Caramel Nougat Brownies are the best treat ever. These brownies are great for any event because they have a rich brownie base, gooey caramel, fluffy marshmallows, and a rich chocolate-peanut butter topping.
Ingredients: 1 box brownie mix. 1/4 cup vegetable oil. 1/4 cup water. 1 egg. 1 cup caramel candies. 1/4 cup heavy cream. 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows. 1 cup chocolate chips. 1/4 cup peanut butter. 1/4 cup chopped peanuts.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, using vegetable oil, water, and egg. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. In a small saucepan, melt the caramel candies with heavy cream over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour the caramel mixture over the baked brownies. Sprinkle mini marshmallows evenly over the caramel layer, then return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the marshmallows are lightly golden brown. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture over the marshmallow layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle chopped peanuts over the chocolate layer. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
