       most of the soldiers he had recruited didn’t question his decisions    --   but these people never met dean before the apocalypse. few of them who knew him before that, and even less than few  (   only one in particular    )   had the audacity to question his orders.  he had already told the others to leave, so as not to let them listen to her reasoning and inspire a REVOLT     --     it wasn’t the first time she tried to defy him. dean began to realize that jo needed to be restrained and soon.           ‘   --   what they need is a bullet to the head before they start infecting us all. ’

“what the hell happened to you?” / angela @ luna !

havoc  lived  deep  inside  the  bones  of  the  girl,   a  monster  with  intentions  to  kill  and  that’s  what  she  did   —   she  killed;   the  sound  of  flesh  ripping  and  the  cries  of  a  man  could  still  be  heard  in  her  head,   like  an  echo  that  haunted  her  and  distorted  her  features  to  a  look  of  disgust.   it  looked  as  though  some   animal   had  found  its  prey  and  it  was  going  to  stay  that  way.

upon  returning  to  the  other  individual,   luna  had  become  sweaty  and  the  blood  that  lingered  had  mostly  dried,   and  she  purposely  ignored  the  question  directed  at  her.   a  deep  sigh  left  past  her  lips  as  intense  blue  eyes  gaze  over,   voice  stern  as  she  spoke.   “   someone  attacked  me,   but  he’s  not  a  problem  anymore.   ”

“Heard it was someone’s birthday!” Wyn says as she comes in with a fifth of whiskey & a couple of her .. entertainer friends 😏 she gives him a kiss on the cheek; hands him his fifth & before she leaves, calls back. “Try not to have too much fun, I need those girls back first thing tomorrow morning! Happy birthday, nerd!” / 😘😘

dean’s bday !

             with his jaw left ajar, dean ceases to listen half way through wyn’s words, as his main   focus falls upon the two dancers standing a few feet away from him.  he accepts the bottle of whiskey and nods mechanically at wyn as she makes her way to the door.     ‘  y-yeah, OK.  ’

“i’m fine, it’s just a flesh wound, i’ll be okay.” / cordie @ hayley !

she  knew  her  eyes  could   deceive   her,   allow  her  to  see  things   worse   than  they  were  and  expect  the  worst  outcome;   it  was  the  tragedy  of  living  with  trauma  from  the  past.   her  eyes  could  visualize  what  wasn’t  there,   a  deep  wound  that  bled  and  bled  until  that  was  all  that  hayley  could  see,   and  that  was  the  reason  for  the  panic  in  her  eyes.

a  quick  shake  of  her  head  and  a  blink  of  her  eyes  allowed  her  to  see  true,   strands  of  dark  hair  cascading  over  her  shoulders.   she  finally  understood  the  reassurance,   noting  the  little  trace  of  blood  that  barely  seeped  and  there’s  a  sigh  that  pushed  past  her  lips.   “   i’m  sorry,   ”   the  sheepish  apology  escaped  her  quickly,   followed  by  more  words.   “   i  saw  something  different   —   it  looked  worse.   ”

               ‘  so could you   –   what was i supposed to do?  you didn’t listen to me, so why should i ?!   ’       it would be far easier if they both came to terms with the fact that they both made it out alive and even try and celebrate it instead of bickering, but that was not them.

he  heard  the  question  loud  and  clear,   but  he  allowed  silence  to  hang  in  the  air.   green  eyes  shift  to  look  at  the  fabric  of  his  shirt,   noting  the  red  that  stained  it,   and  catching  a  glimpse  of  the  sanguine  splattered  on  his  hands.   most  of  it  had  dried,   signifying  that  is  was  no  longer  fresh.   he  was  created  for  the  act  of  destroying,   but  his  fire  was  not  enough  to  satisfy  him  and  opted  for  blood  to  be  spilled  upon  the  earth.

eyes  return  to  the  woman,   a  ghost  of  a  sad  smile  forming  on  features  and  there’s  a  shrug  that  he  gave  her.   “   i  don’t  remember,   ”   the  lie  rolled  off  his  tongue  naturally,   for  he  could  never  forget  the  pleas  that  echoed  in  his  eyes  and  the  look  of  desperation  in  the  eyes  of  victims.
