Michelle Obama is me. I am her. Now and forever.
8 years just flew by.
I used to say that I wished I would become half the woman that Mrs. Obama is...
About 4 minutes ago I realized, I am half the woman she is. And that’s not nearly good enough. I want more out of my myself. Through her speeches, it’s clear that she expects more out of me. And as part of her legacy, I owe that to her. I owe that to me. I owe that to us.
In 8 years, I have yet to come up with the words to describe my admiration for my First Lady.
From one black woman to another, Thank you Mrs. Obama for selflessly stepping up and showing me that black woman can have it “all.”
Representation matters, Thank you for representing me.
