I have the second video up finally of being in San Francisco! This is two days worth of footage. The first part covers the Aquarium of the Bay. This was a wonderful little spot that has some interesting history to tell. A while ago the bay here was used as a dumping spot. This polluted the waters, and threatened to snuff out local wild-life, and the ecosystem. It took a collective effort of determined people to fight back against this, and reverse the damage. This aquarium stands as an end result of this effort. I find it interesting that this is a parallel story that is shared back at home by the east coast. The second is walking the Golden Gate Bridge. It wasn’t easy to get good footage while omitting people, so I offer only a small clip. The third part is the Flower Conservatory. They have some wonderful set ups, and their level of devotion to all of this plant life is touching to see. It was also really cool to see te gold-fish and koi scattered about in the water based systems. Just another reminder of why these animals belong in big water systems, and not your standard fish tank! The final part is a revisit when it isn’t raining of the Japanese Tea Garden, and there is a clip of the Sea Lions.
