They say they started dating in June 2010. Dare was pretty famous at that time, a YT sensation, fans screaming in his concerts, had played two TV shows and had casted for Gl/ee. He was looking for a career in HOLLYWOOD. Come on Nia, you never thought he would be famous??

Anon we know she’s a beard not a GF. As far as i’m aware she was around in 2010, but as part of a wider social circle that also included C/huck (whose FLW career was seriously on the up by 2010 too coincidentally).  

D denied having any GF in 2011, but  formally confirmed her as a pre-/glee GF in 2013, this post show how messed up their actual timeline is.  Add to that the encage statement which mentions 7 years, so that would mean they are a couple in 2011.  So looking at the facts when she was first around D had already done AVP/M, Wal/ker Philips and E/astwick in 2009 and Cold Case, released his EP Human and appeared in G/lee in 2010.  So at the point they got together according to of the official timeline of the encage in 2011 he’s already really famous.  

The fact M/ia made that comment to New Republic in May 2016 without any irony is incredulous.  And I laugh at the ‘never something I really wanted’ bit because every bit of evidence screams the opposite.  A woman who can spot a camera ½ mile away, a woman who ensures she gets her friends and acolytes to post about her on their social media endlessly.   A woman who takes pics of herself wearing D clothes and with D related paraphernalia.  A woman who hangs off him and photoshops pictures with him to make them seem more intimate.  A woman insists on singing publicly with him.  A woman who has been promoted more than D by HIS team since the encage and has been pictured constantly with him.  A woman who’s sheer eagerness to jump onto the red carpet and into any pic with D and his more famous friends is comical.  My favorite, her running into shot from a bar to appear in a pic with L/ea (enjoy) or how she recently behaved around Ed/gar Rami/rez, jumping around to get into shot with him.  And not seeking fame LOL maybe she could have shut down one of the 1274645 non entity swifer articles written about her since the encage as she’s private and all of that.  There’s a reason she’s called an attention whore.

And really it doesn’t matter whether you place the start of M/iarren in 2010 or 2011 the facts show she is a liar.  My opinion - she jumped on that gravy train as soon as she got the opportunity and has ridden it hard since.

I do think some gay men come out as bisexual first, before finding they are more comfortable identifying as gay, such as Elton John. Especially if they have a history of dating women. Though I do believe bisexuality is a true identity.

Firstly - sorry for the delay in answering tumblr ate my first response and let me add I agree with you that bisexuality is an identity that’s absolutely independent in itself.

Secondly it APPEARS you may have a point regarding Elton.  Elton comes out as bisexual in 1976 in a magazine article, gets married to Renate in 1984 and comes out as gay in 1988 divorcing his wife and marries da/vid fu/rnish shortly after.  So as far as Elton is concerned it appears he gradually moved  towards coming out as a gay man.  Georg/e Micha/el is different he came out as bisexual at 19, but re-evaluated his identity and came out as gay later, but that appears to be more of a personal journey for him rather than the strategy it appears to be for Elton.  

I realise there are many out and proud celebs now, but I suspect there are even more celebs firmly kept in the closet to protect their brand.  Your ask maybe implies there is a strategy to a soft way of tiptoeing out of the closet as a gay celeb but I’m not sure there really is a bi2gay stepping stone approach.  Bisexuality isn’t a halfway house to gayness. 

Additionally coming out as not straight is a huge deal in itself regardless of where you identify on the lgbt spectrum and as soon as you do it’s open to scrutiny and ignorance and interpretation via the media.  Take celebs like Keiy/nan Lonsd/ale and Fran/k Oc/ean, you will find media articles that refer to them as Pan/Bi (KL) or Bi/gay (FO).  And look at KMcH’s recent post. He’s clearly identified as non straight, but there has been a rush to label him by fans and the press. So IMO coming out as bisexual or pan has it’s own risks if you are not explicit in how you identify, add biphobia to the mix and you can see it is NOT the easier option/strategy for the lgbt celeb

Of the many happily out bisexual celebs (men and women) last time I checked the likes of A/lan Cummin/gs, Ezr/a, Mill/er, Kris/ten Ste/wart, Rac/hel Ev/an Wo/od haven’t publicly moved to identifying themselves as gay yet so I’m pretty sure it’s not a stepping stone for them.

Of the gay celebs we saw with women (beards) frequently before they came out such as N/PH, R/icky Ma/rtin, Went/worth Mil/ler etc, they came out as gay end of and didn’t identify as Bi on the way as far as I know.

There may be some recent celebs that have done it, but I can’t think of any right now.  I’m sure tumblr will educate me on this if there are.

Finally I’m not saying sexuality is written in stone either, people can identify at various points on the lgbt spectrum at different points in their life.   

One more thing to say, these are just my thoughts anon.  I certainly don’t speak for the community, it’s just purely my opinion.

Hello Anon - and thanks for the ask.  Wouldn’t that be wonderful? Sadly from the photographs X  I don’t think it’s exactly the same hat.  The writing appears a little different on the front, but it’s without doubt a very similar style, black, bulky, gold writing and I think a very deliberate choice by Ben to make a point as he often does during heavy bearding. 

The interesting thing is when the Daily M referred to M’s hat X on the 12 Feb they called it a trucker hat.  Who can forget the quote below.

I checked B’s IG account again this morning and I think there is ONLY one other pic on B’s IG with a hat like this. He’s usually dapper and this is not his usual style so you wonder why he made that particular choice.  I found an interesting addition to his post last night on checking his account this morning.

If you look at the his comment on the bottom right in response wesley clouden you can see quite clearly  ‘just the trucker cap’.  

That’s not a coincidence - a similar style hat and a deliberate reference to M and the DM article.  Make no mistake B references her a lot on SM, (the truck purchasing was recent and blatant - maybe that’s the reason for the trucker hats and they are laughing about it - who knows)?

I do wonder why B does this so blatantly again and again because there are other posts like this.  Jealously? must be hard to watch your GF pose for paps, doing duck kisses with a man she’s trapped.  

Idk - I assume among all this circus B is someone not trapped by NDA’s or contracts.  He has the power to change the situation unlike D so I wish he’d just ‘go get his girl’ instead of making these passive agressive posts on social media about a situation he clearly isn’t happy in and give everyone including D their freedom from this mess.

what am I missing about the will smith t-shirt? I'm not a troll I promise. I'm a CC fan and shipper. I know there has been more active trolls as of late.

Hello Anon.  The t-shirt that D was wearing during last nights tweet was this one.  I’m sure that there are varied opinions here about why he chose to wear it and I certainly don’t speak for everyone here.  Some will just think it’s a cool shirt.  

However if you visit any blind site and look up w/ill and ja/da names you will come up with a stack of rumours regarding their fluid sexuality/marriage.  There are also gay/bi rumours in particular regarding Wi/ll.  It is generally believed that W/ill and or Jada are both closeted for the sake of their careers.  They have been married for 20 years now because I doubt the movie industry would have been particularly supportive of a non straight A lister in action type roles back then.

I can’t speak for exactly what D might have been referencing, closeting may be part of it, but i’m without a doubt D would have been more than aware of the rumours surrounding ‘The Smiths’ and wore it as MORE than just a cool shirt.

As you say you are new I did discover another interesting/fun ‘Smiths’ link when looking up an image of the t-shirt.  When you google ‘The Smiths’ t-shirt one of the images that pops up is this.   

and being a CC’r my mind went immediately to the t-shirt below (which is also my icon here).  The above design isn’t the official ‘The Queen is Dead’ X  single cover, but it did personally remind me of D’s God Save the Queer t-shirt and that’s always a blessing.  Yes I it’s a stretch, but a fun one.  Darre/n seems to wear this shirt when Ch/ris is about so if you are new anon then that’s something you should look up :).

Many of us wondered why he did not come out with an EP after the LU tour, and then figured he was still under contract to Columbia and they had some control over whatever music he was writing, since this tour was to test music for an album. We thought that music was kept under their control, but apparently not?

It’s been clear for a while, he’s not contracted with Columbia anymore although I don’t know when that formally ended.  It’s very clear they don’t have control over IDM so I expect he could use other songs from that tour if he wished.  I think the main thing is that D didn’t want to be the sort of artist they wanted with songs like picture perfect girl and pheremones and that’s the type of album he would have made under Columbia.  He cleary stated in interviews following the LU tour that C/huck had asked him not to compromise “Just promise me your record won’t smell like compromise.”   The same interview in Indie Magazine if I recall also referred to D saying that, he wanted to make a statement of who he is and who he wants to be with his album, and suggests that he wouldn’t want to work on an album where he couldn’t touch the writing or producing.  He likes creative control in what he does and he’s got it with this EP.  

Darren said people can smell it when you are disingenuous and I think the EP will be a far more authentic reflection of who he is because he’s had control over it and worked with people he likes and respects to make it what he wanted.  I’m waiting to hear the arrangments for the other songs, but I love the strings in IDM and I’m expecting a choir for TDTDIO (like E/lsie).  Regardless of what I think is going on in his life right now I’m expecting a classy EP which isn’t what Columbia would have given him and I can’t wait to listen to ALL of it.
