Fresh flowers in my kitchen - just the thing on a rainy day☺️. . Those roses were an impulse buy from @costco this morning (thank you, Chip!). I’ve been loving those blue spikes (sorry - I’m not sure what they are. I bought them last year as decor for the barn, and then just stuck them in the ground. Turns out they’re actually bushes😱, and dragonflies and butterflies LOVE them! Just the prettiest scene outside), and added them to the bouquet from our rain-soaked garden. Placed on our soapstone counters in front of ‘Pieter & Julia’ (the charming Dutch couple who dance on the wall of our kitchen), they make the kitchen smile - and me, too😃 . . While fresh flowers are lovely everywhere, the kitchen is where I start my day ☕️☕️☕️ and where I end it (washing 🍽🙄). So it’s always a priority for me, when I have fresh flowers, to make a pretty statement in the kitchen. .
