i’ve actually only pictured it as preston being the “left out” one (in high school au this is what happens). nerris & harrison have a lot of….. pent-up aggression they need to work out.
but if it did happen that way, harrison would have a doubly hard time, trying to deny his feelings for them, while his HPD works against him, demanding their attention.
