And Gabriel's HAPPINESS ARIA. His happiness is SO contagious! It's bubbling up out of every single pore as he grabs Sam's hands and moves them back and forth, mouthing along with the lyrics until he's finally /SINGING at the top of his lungs. THE WAY IT GROWS AND MAKES HIS /SOUL GLOW. They dance along to it until both of them are /breathless, looking at each other and mutually inspiring each other to LIVE (alt ending: a Grace dancing inelegantly around a soul that's just as tethered to it back) (FUCK they're so in love I JUST) 2/2 -f!a

^ DAT SMILE, RIGHT FLUFF ANON?  ARGH, BUT I LOVE THIS PROMPT, OKAY? IT’S FUCKING WONDERFUL AND PERFECT.  BECAUSE THEM DANCING AND SAM LAUGHING AT HIS BROTHER, GAH.  

So, of course, Sam turns the corner and sees Dean dancing and shaking and shimmying his hips to Taylor Swift and he cannot resist bursting into loud laughter, pressing his fist to his mouth to try and stifle the noise.  

Dean does nothing but flip him off and keep dancing, which just sets Sam off all over again.  

Gabriel, who was watching Dean (and maybe even filming on his phone for blackmail later), catches sight of Sam and just FREEZES at how beautiful Sam’s soul is like this, because it is bright, incandescent and just, amazingly, incredibly beautiful, and it is everything he has ever wanted to see for Sam.  

His joy is so deep and visceral, his Grace is even responding to it and Gabriel is striding towards Sam and pulling him into the middle of the room to dance with him before he thinks better of it.  

Sam takes a few seconds to get into it, but once he does, he’s dancing completely with abandon, spinning around with Gabriel, letting the archangel twirl him, and dip him, and do all sorts of ridiculous things, and Sam cannot remember the last time he laughed so hard.  

When they finally fall together after they’re finished, Sam just leans down and kisses Gabriel, and it melts into the easiest kiss he’s ever had, just gentle swipes of their mouthes moving together, and when they pull apart, Sam is grinning down at Gabriel, and he presses their foreheads together and just, there’s this little comment about ‘well that took long enough’.  

Sam shuts Gabriel up with a kiss, because that’s his new official favorite way of shutting Gabriel the hell up.

(Common one, apols) Bakery!AU where our intrepid health nut jogger has to admit that after the 5th time he runs past the bakery that morning, that it's not /just the smell of the decadent pastries that has him leaning in and debating breaking his diet, but rather the smile of the upbeat, happy storekeep who always has a grin and a wink for him every time he stops by. Sam of course, tries to avoid the bakery but it's getting harder and harder as time goes on to resist the allure. . . -f!a

OH GOD, THIS GAVE ME FEELS, LIKE, SRS FEELS, AND I FUCKING LOVE SO MUCH OF IT, OKAY?  BUT LIKE, ALL OF THE FEELS OF GABRIEL NOT KNOWING IF SAM IS STOPPING FOR HIM OR THE FOOD AND JUST.  ARGH.  IT’S SO GOOD.  

But like, Gabriel gets used to seeing him.  He doesn’t know WHO him is, but he’s getting used to seeing him a couple of times a morning, whenever he runs by in those shorts and that tanktop and Gabriel has done more ogling than baking and it’s all his fault.  

It’s another boring Tuesday and it’s past seven am, which means HIS run is now over and the bell rings and Gabriel plasters a smile to his face and turns around to come face to face with HIM.  

He’s pretty sure he gasps like the girl he is and stares at HIM, before he snaps out of it and asks if he can get him something.  

HE laughs a little and grins and points to the case and orders three separate pastries and a coffee.  And Gabriel starts to get the coffee ready and he’s babbling, something about the pastries that he picked and Gabriel is not ready when HE (and fuck, he looks just as good in the shirt, tie and slacks as he does in the tanktop and shorts) asks how he can get Gabriel’s number written on the cup.  

Gabriel stutters (and dammit he’s way more smooth than this) and he says he’ll at least need an introduction before he starts handing out his phone number.  HE laughs and holds out a hand, introducing himself as Sam Winchester and that he’d try again for that phone number tomorrow.  

Gabriel is so stunned he just nods and hands Sam his coffee and watches him walk out the door.  

He’s cursing himself for the rest of the day, except when he bell rings again the next morning, Sam is walking through the door and Gabriel already has his number written on the cup for Sam.  He even remembers to write his name and to introduce himself to Sam.  

When he gets a phone call, five minutes after Sam has left the shop, asking him for lunch, Gabriel can’t help grinning so wide his cheeks hurt.  He maybe even starts to think about how to tailor-make a drink for Sam and put it on his menu.

It's like 3 am and you were setting off fireworks in the yard behind our mutual apartment building and one of them flew into my balcony anD NOW EVERYTHING IS ON FIRE OH GOD and you keep apologizing so much but you're /really cute so it's kind of really hard to stay mad at you and I know I look angry but most of the reason my face is red is because I'm /blushing. You're still an asshole. AU -f!a

FLUFF ANON, I FUCKING LOV EYOU OKAY?  SO MUCH.  SO VERY VERY MUCH I AM HAVING TROUBLE DESCRIBING HOW MUCH, BECAUSE THIS MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD MY SIDES HURT A LITTLE BIT NOW.  

Dean is grumbling a little at whoever is setting off fireworks in the back, but Sam is busy grinning at them from the bedroom window, where his desk is situated.  They’re being set off by one of the upstairs neighbors, the one with the cute eyes that he tries not to ogle (but fails, often) whenever they meet together.  

A minute later, he hears a shout of ‘NO!  SHIT!’ has Sam looking up just as a streak of bright light hits his porch and there are sparks and things that look very suspiciously like flames.  He can hear shouting on the porch and he flings the door open, only to slam it shut at a wall of heat a moment later.  

The sound of water splashing and hissing has him opening the door again and this time there’s nothing but smoke.  Sam steps out onto his porch and stomps out the last of the glowing embers that he can see, waving his hand to clear some of the smoke and he sees his hot neighbor, holding a bucket and looking completely horrified.  

“I’m so sorry, jesus, shit, I’m so fucking sorry, I thought I had them all angled right, and then that one fell over, and fuck, your porch, I’m so, so, so sorry, I’ll pay for the damages and security deposit and everything,” he babbled.  

Sam tries not to blush as he neighbor steps even closer, helping to wave away the smoke that is the remains of the firework.  After it’s cleared, he realizes that the other man is still spouting apologies and Sam wants to be angry, he does, but the other man looks so contrite and upset, Sam’s having trouble staying frustrated with him.  

He crosses his arms over his chest and tries to look angry, and his neighbor steps closer and offers his hand.  

“I’m Gabriel, we’ve met a few times in the hallway, I’m so sorry, so sorry, I just wanted to have some fun with the fireworks-”  

Sam gives him a firm shake and then looks at the damage.  It’s not as bad as it could be, considering the fire it had been a few minutes ago, but it’s definitely damaged.  “You really did a number on the place.”  

Gabriel winces and pushes his fingers through his hair.  “Yeah, it’s probably a good thing I didn’t light The Judge, that probably wouldn’t have gone over well either.”  

“They have a firework named The Judge?” Sam asks, looking over at the pile that were by Gabriel and where he was shooting them off.  

Gabriel brightens a little and nods.  “Yes, there definitely is, and I have two of them, and I was going to set them both off as my finale, but, uh, well, fires are priority.”  

Sam perks up a little bit and points over to the empty end of the parking lot.  “How about over there?”  

Gabriel looks over and his smirk grows.  “You take them over and I’ll go refill the bucket in case of any emergencies.” 

Sam agrees and brings them over, getting them situated, reading the instructions and he laughs when they say that he needs fifty feet, and moves them to account for it.  When Gabriel returns, lugging a full bucket of water with a grunt, putting it down beside them, Sam grins and holds out his hand.  “Sam Winchester.  If we get arrested together, I don’t know you.”  

“Deal,” Gabriel says with a laugh and pulls out his lighter.  He hands a spare to Sam.  “Here, you light one and I’ll light the other!” 

Sam and Gabriel race forward, set both of The Judges’ fuses off and race back to the supposedly safe spot to watch the show.  When both the fireworks erupt, shooting into the sky, Sam laughs, watching the trails the fireworks leave.  He feels Gabriel siddle up closer to him and raises an eyebrow at him.  

Gabriel grabs the collar of his plaid shirt and yanks him down into a kiss as the fireworks finish their show and fizzle out.  Sam doesn’t notice for at least another minute or two, still very distracted by Gabriel’s lips and how they were even softer than they looked.  

When they finally broke apart, Sam just grinned down at Gabriel and raised an eyebrow.  “So, were there fireworks for you?” 

Gabriel laughs, almost a surprised, stunned noise before he yanks Sam into another kiss.  

Sam grins into it and wraps his arms around Gabriel.  Lost security deposit or not, he definitely came out ahead tonight.  He snickered and whispered the joke into Gabriel’s lips and Gabriel swatted at him and gave him a stern look and one hell of an assgrab before tugging him in for another kiss.  

Yeah, there were definitely fireworks.

Gabriel loved to hug Sam. In every way. From the front, letting his body settle into Sam's grooves & corners, letting out a soft breath as he did. From the back, where he could let his wings out & let them too, curl around him in protection, joy and /love, not having to restrain them for fear that he would hurt his beloved. From the side, when they were laying in bed & Gabriel was running his fingers along his arms. He loved it from every angle because each time, he knew he was coming home. -f!a

OH GOD OH GOD, OH GOD OH GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.  I CANNOT, I MEAN, JESUS, WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL EFFING MESS, huh @everythingelsegoesherethen?!?!? YOU BROKE ME.  I AM TEH BROKEN.  

God, but just, ARGH.  THIS GIVES ME SO MANY FEELS DAMMIT.  

Like, Sam is just laying on the couch and Gabriel crawls on top of him and just....SINKS into him, and Sam wraps an arm around Gabriel’s waist and keeps reading his book.  Gabriel let’s out this content little noise out of his throat and it makes Sam grin like you wouldn’t believe.  

And then one night, when the nightmares and memories of the Cage are too much, Gabriel wraps around Sam from behind, and wraps the hunter in his arms and his wings and comforts him until Sam stops trembling and starts to fall into a dreamless sleep.  

No matter how, Gabriel whispers a small prayer into Sam’s skin, thanking the human, because Sam has become so much more than just someone to him.  Sam is home.  In a way that heaven will never be, and in a way that the Pagans never can be.  

Sam is home.

Swing!AU Gabriel is an adept dancer/frequents a lot of dancing clubs since he gets the best sort of high from it & Sam is a beginner who was dragged out by friends. It's a matter of seconds before Gabriel hones in on Sam and drags him out to center circle. And the way they dance is just../magnetic. Sam lets rhythm take over & stops thinking so much, the most beautiful smile crossing his lips. The rest of the universe fades out & Sam goes home w/ a number in his pocket w/ a '2nd date?' on it.-f!a

OH GOD YES MORE DANCING POSTS I NEED ALL OF THE DANCING PROMPTS BECAUSE DAMMIT I LOVE DANCE SO MUCH AND I FUCKING MISS DOING IT, IT WAS SO AWESOME AND FUN!! ARGH BUT DANCING.

So Sam, totally, totally doesn’t get what the big deal is about dancing.  He supposes it’s cool for the girls, being flipped and tossed around and shit like that.  That makes sense.  But he doesn’t get what’s supposed to be fun for him. 

Then he sees HIM.  

He’s wearing a red button up, braces (DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE RANT ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BRACES AND SUSPENDERS BECAUSE THERE IS A DIFFERENCE AND IT IS VERY EASY ACTUALLY BECAUSE ONE HOLDS YOUR PANTS UP - SUSPENDERS AND THE OTHER JUST LOOKS SASSY - BRACES) and tight slacks.  Sam’s pretty sure he can’t look away, especially as he and another guy dance slow circles around each other, only to come together in bursts of movement and twisting around each other.  

Sam is ogling so hard, he doesn’t realize the dancer that he’s watching is approaching him and then standing in front of him and staring at him with his hands on his hips.  

“Your turn!” 

Sam snaps out of it and by then, the dancer is dragging him out to the floor and he’s trying to stutter and explain that he’s new at this and he doesn’t think that this is a good idea.  And that he (who introduces himself as Gabriel a minute later) is too good to be dancing with someone like Sam.  

Gabriel just laughs and says trust him and then looks to the band, raising his hand to snap.  Almost as if it was on command, Gabriel wraps an arm around Sam’s waist and forces him to move.  Sam stumbles the first few steps until Gabriel chuckles and orders him to relax.  

The hand at his back steadies him and Sam just takes a deep breath and straightens his spine a little bit and steps when he feels Gabriel move.  

After that, it’s effortless, and they’re swinging together, Gabriel planting his weight on Sam’s waist and forearms, kicking his legs up and around Sam.  Sam wants to laugh, because it’s almost like he knows what he’s doing.  

When after a few additional songs, they’re both panting, and covered in a fine sheen of sweat he realizes that they are almost entirely alone on the dance floor and he blushes bright red.  Gabriel just throws his head back and laughs and Sam thinks that he has never seen someone so beautiful.  

Gabriel yanks a card out of his pocket and stuffs it in Sam’s breast pocket before stuffing his hands in his pockets and walking towards the band.  Sam is disappointed until Jess waves frantically at where Gabriel had left the card.  

He yanks it out and gives a wide, blinding grin when he realizes that there’s a name, a phone number and a ‘call me? 2nd date’? written on it.  Sam laughs and immediately calls the number.  He accepts Gabriel’s offer of a second date and grins even harder when Gabriel offers to take him proper dancing, the kind that might be a lot slow and dirty.  

Well.  Apparently there was something to this dancing thing after all!

Sabriel Fluff Friday - PSA - Return of Fluff!Anon
