Makoto: Clark seriously! If anything happens just call!!!
Clark: I got it! I got it!!
Laurent: love come on let’s go, Clark’s got it *kisses Elizabeth’s head* but if you want daddies to stay we’ll stay
Elizabeth: it’s ok! Go have fun!
Makoto: ok ok…all emergency numbers are on the fridge!!!
Laurent: *leads him out* come on, we can handle a few hours away from her
Makoto: Mmmm..!!!! If you can’t reach us!! Call the police!!!!
Clark: have fun! *closes the door*
Elizabeth: :3 can I have candy?
Clark: are you allowed to have candy at this time?
Elizabeth: yes?
Clark: alright!!!!
Makoto; WHY IS THERE A HORSE IN OUR LAWN?!
Laurent: oh…
Clark: well!! We couldn’t play knight and princess with no horse!!!!
Elizabeth: *hyped up on sugar* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Makoto: *chases Clark around the yard screaming murder*
Laurent:…*calls Oz* so…do you know anyone who wants a horse? Also I think you’re going to have to defend Makoto in court cause he’s about to kill Clark dead. *holds a sugar hype Elizabeth who’s still screaming*
Makoto and Laurent, along with the rest of Team Confidence gushing over baby Elizabeth in her crib. (She really was a cute baby). Bonus: Oz holding her for the first time and completely melting. ;)
MY HEART
Makoto and Laurent knew from the moment they announced they were going to have a baby, they would be chop liver to everyone who came over.
The first day they had her, makoto and Laurent just stared at her in her crib. They died over how cute and small she was. Laurent fell apart when Lizzie grabbed his finger. He was on the floor crying. The two couldn’t stop cuddling and kissing her, they just wanted her to be in their arms.
They had everyone over and well,
Cythina and Shi Won went straight to see the baby, didn’t even say hi. Shi Won got to hold her first cause she was older (Cynthia was very salty). She was actually pretty good with babies.
Cythina quickly scooped her up when it was her turn. She walked around just cradling Elizabeth, gushing over her, and pecking her head repeatedly.
Abby was hesitate, all she hoped was that the baby didn’t spit up on her. Cythina showed her how to hold her. Abby was like “hmmm..” and held her awkwardly away from her body at first. Makoto and Cythina helped her though, assuring it was fine. Abby felt Elizabeth’s head lay on her chest, and the warmth…she was done. Did not want to give the baby up. She promise then and there she would burn the world for Elizabeth.
Kudo got to hold her next. He was so happy. SO HAPPY!!! He cooed at her and was just so happy to hold her. (Must of reminded him of his own kid)
Oz was very quiet when he came. He didn’t want to push anything about holding the baby. He wasn’t even sure if Makoto would let him. He didn’t say or do anything that would ruin his chances of being in the baby’s life. Makoto took Elizabeth and walked over to Oz.
Oz felt his heart tense up when Makoto said “alright, grandpa’s turn”
Oz slowly took Elizabeth and looked down at her. His heart went on a roller coaster of emotions. He wanted to cry but held it back. He smiled widely down at her, she smiled and squealed a bit, which made his heart ache even more with joy. Planting kisses on her head and going “Miki would have loved you so much..” he got to hold Elizabeth the longest, didn’t even want to let her go when it was time to change her. Took it upon himself and his grandpa duties to help with her.
They help Makoto and Laurent out a lot. Oz and Kudo are the biggest help though, since they have more experience with kids.
Elizabeth finally asks about Dorothy. And Laurent and Makoto are really anxious about answering (especially Laurent).
Yes and it’s also tricky since they both agreed, Elizabeth, and any other kids they have, is to never know what Team Confidence was. They don’t want her going down that road at all.
Dorothy grew close to the couple, mending a playful friendship with Makoto and somewhat of a friendship with Laurent. She would visit now and then, mainly with Shi Won.
Elizabeth grew close to her. She loves the gifts Dorothy brings her. Dorothy tells her lots of “make believe” stories, she’s a good story teller.
Around age 13, everyone comes over to celebrate Elizabeth’s birthday. It’s a nice party of family and friends. Near the end, when everyone leaves, Elizabeth’s turns to her dads. Shes confused.
The first time she saw Dorothy, there was screaming, and crying. Over the years she’s watched her dad Makoto going from resenting Dorothy, to growing close to her as one of his dearest friends. Her father Laurent looking like a wreck everytime she showed up, to being able to stand in a room with her without breaking down. 
“Why is Dorothy so important.?” She asks
They both freeze.
Elizabeth isnt dumb, she loves Dorothy like an aunt, but she also knows Dorothy almost caused her fathers to spilt up.
“Did she do something bad.?”
The two look at each other not knowing what to say. How do they even explaining without saying what team confidence was? Their past is something they don’t want her to know. They don’t want her to try to do the life of a confidence woman. They don’t want to burden Elizabeth of the past. The horrible things they’ve both done. It was a chapter of their lives they had closed, and moved on from. It had no place in this new chapter of their life. They weren’t going to lose their daughter to that life.
Dorothy and Laurent use to date. Long ago before Makoto and Laurent met. Laurent wanted to marry her, but Dorothy didn’t want to be married. So she “ran away”, and broke Laurent’s heart. Laurent spent years “looking” for her, and met Makoto along the way. Laurent “drug” Makoto along “looking” for Dorothy. And in that time, the two fell in love, but Makoto knew Laurent’s heart still belonged to someone else. When they “gave up”, Laurent had “broken” Makoto’s heart from dragging him along so much. So Makoto left. Laurent then spent the next two years, mending his relationship with Makoto, building trust back up for breaking his heart. When Dorothy returned back into their lives, Laurent was shocked cause he thought she “had” probably died, and Makoto was hurt cause he thought Laurent’s heart still belonged to Dorothy.
In a way it wasn’t a lie, but they still had to leave lots of things out, and changed the story just a bit.
Elizabeth nods and looks down at the floor. “So..papa isn’t going to leave us for a new family..?”
Laurent feels his heart drop, he rushes and scoops Elizabeth up in his arms. (He doesn’t care how old she gets, if he can pick her up he will) “princess..no, no no no no, never in a million years you understand me?”
Makoto comes over and kisses her cheek “sweetie..don’t you worry about papa and I, what happens between us, doesn’t affect how we love you. Your father and I have worked a lot on ourselves and our relationships. And if we did ever spilt up, we never abandon you.”
“Princess..no matter what happens, im always going to love you. You are my daughter and nothing and no one can take me away from you”
Elizabeth nods, she had worried at some point she was going to lose one of her dads because of Dorothy. But she feels reassure that won’t happen.
The two kiss their daughter’s head and hug her tightly. Nothing is ever going to break their family apart. Not if Laurent has anything to say about it. He will do everything and anything to make sure this life he now has, never gets stripped away from him.
Little 7 year old Elizabeth knows better then to try to cook. Luckily, auntie Cynthia shows up early before Makoto and Laurent wake up, Lizzie letting her in.
Cynthia cooked Belgian waffles, sausages, eggs, and made sure to brew some dark roast coffee from Colombian. She helped Elizabeth set up a food cart she bought as well, and allowed Elizabeth to roll it to her father’s room. And yes Cynthia cleaned up.
Elizabeth rolls the cart into her dads rooms who are still very much asleep. It’s the weekend and one of the only days the two have off together. Elizabeth crawled onto their bed, patting at her papa Laurent’s face.
Laurent opens his eyes, seeing two big brown eyes staring down at him with a smile. He chuckled pecked her nose good morning.
Elizabeth then shook her dad Makoto, who is very grouchy. She laid across her dad and kissed his each until he finally caved in and woke up.
Elizabeth gave them their breakfast, with a proud smile, of course she let them know Cynthia helped didn’t need her dads having a heart attacking wondering how all the food was made, or the state of the kitchen.
After breakfast Elizabeth zooms to her room to get the gifts. Abby helped her pick them out. She came back to her father’s room, who had finished getting ready for the day. They got matching dad mugs, a family of cat porcelain. She also gave them a bunch of drawings and cards she wrote for them.
Yes they both cried.
They went to the park to spend time together. Also they swung by Oz’s, Elizabeth giving her grandfather a card a drawing too, she also got him a goofy pen (she’s not really sure what he likes). Oz uses that pen ALL THE TIME now.
The park also led to walking around a few stores Laurent and Makoto wanted to see and go into. They also got ice cream. Just a nice family outing.
By the time they got home, it was nearing the evening time and close to their dinner plans.
Team Confidence of course rent a nice party room in a nice hotel and held a father day’s celebration for the dads and fathers in TC.
No Elizabeth still has no idea about TC actually is.
Laurent loves showing off his darling daughter. “hey have you seen my daughter?” “Guess what, she knows her times tables” “my kid is better then yours”
Elizabeth is happy she gets to wear the new dress Cythina got for her. She kept going up to people and spinning around to show them her dress.
By the end of the party, Lizzie is tried out. Laurent carries her home, holding her close. Makoto holds his hand smiling wide. Of course they get cheesy and tell each other how much they love each other.
“Thank you for having a family with me”
“Thank you for blessing me with everything I could possible want and even more”
They get home and wake Elizabeth up a bit, helping her change out and into her pjs.
They let Elizabeth sleep with them tonight.
Elizabeth quickly falls back asleep between her dads smiling, mumbling a “happy Father’s Day dadas..”
Makoto and Laurent rest their foreheads together smiling as they hold their daughter between them.
I’m holding my baby cousin and now I’m in Edaurent family mood
Laurent is actually the stay at home parents mostly (they take turns)
Makoto comes home to find Laurent and Elizabeth passed out on the couch, Elizabeth sleeping on Laurent’s chest.
When Shi Won or Cynthia come to visit, they immediately walk pass the two dads and go straight to hold Elizabeth.
Makoto holds Elizabeth that baby sling when he’s doing small chores, when he’s cleaning he’ll make sure Elizabeth can still see him when he cleans
Elizabeth screams if she notices both her dads aren’t in the room. So when they finally set her down for nap and go to watch a movie, they get interrupt by her screaming her head off.
Sunday mornings, Makoto and Laurent sleep in while Elizabeth lays between them playing with some toys they let her have in the bed
