Catching their S/O wearing their clothes

TW: Slightly suggestive, Mild Possessive Behavior (Rook)

Floyd Leech

Floyd honestly so sloppy with his clothes that he doesn't even notice that they've been shuffled around or moved because he doesn't recall where they were sitting.

And if they make off with his clothes and he sees them in their room, he really doesn't think much of it. He just assumes he left it there himself. He will usually take it back with him if he remembers, which he doesn't always. Even if they make off with it again, he still probably won't notice, to be honest.

No, Floyd will only realize they're doing it when he catches them. More than likely, he catches a bad case of the 'I don't give a shit's and will come home early and surprise them completely.

He is extremely smug. He thinks it's really cute how his clothes look on them and that they're playing around with them.

And he knows that they still smell a little bit like him. His sense of smell is stronger than a humans, so it is exciting to see themself wrapped up in his clothes and making themself smell like him.

"Aw, shrimpy, if you wanted to wear my clothes you should have told me!" He sing songs, wrapping them up in his arms and giving them a tight, affectionate squeeze. "Hehe, it doesn't fit right but you look so cute."

He will intentionally leave them his jackets, coats and hoodies so that they can wear them. He still takes them back once in a while, too, because after they wear them a bit it starts smelling like them, too, and their scent makes him feel like a big, happy, purring cat.

Jade Leech

Jade definitely notices that his clothes are missing. Originally, he thinks that he loses them when he takes them to wash them, but after it keeps happening he thinks something is definitely amiss.

He will ask them if they know what happened to them. After all, they might have seen them get mixed up with Floyd's clothes or something. He notices that they kind of stumble when they answer him and he's immediately suspicious.

From that alone he gets a hunch. And just to confirm his suspicions, the next time he's at their home and they step away for a minute, he's going to peek into their closet or hamper just to see if he spots any of his clothes. Once he confirms it, though, he doesn't really say anything. He doesn't mind, and it's enough just to know he wasn't incorrect that things were disappearing. He can't bring himself to be all to upset at them over it.

However, the day he finally did stumble in on them wearing his clothes it... hit him in a way that he wasn't expecting. He just kind of goes quiet at he stares at them and at the way his own clothing hangs off of him. It takes him a minute to snap out of it, and when he does it's clear that he's a bit more worked up than usual.

He gets touchy after he sees them in his clothes. He wants to snuggle and kiss.

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim might notice his clothes disappearing, bit honestly he doesn't care. Or, to put it a different way, he figures if someone is going through the trouble of stealing his clothes, they're doing it because they need them. (He really assumes the best out of everyone.)

It's a complete accident when he stumbles across them wearing his clothes. He just pops up on them when he gets a spur of the moment plan in mind about something.

When he realizes what they're wearing, he lights up like the sun. He thinks they look super cute and he just kind of assumes they like his style.

He immediately suggests that they start shopping with him to pick things out if they like his clothes.

He doesn't really try to get his things back. He sees that they're happy wearing them so they're better suited being there with them-- it's just nice for him to get to see them comfortable and happy.

Rook Hunt

Rook most definitely notices his clothing starting to go missing. In fact, he probably notices nearly instantly when he goes to look for it in his closet or to wash his clothes. Given the fact that he's perceptive as all hell, he's probably going to piece together who is doing it pretty quickly.

He doesn't mind per se, but he will ponder over how he would like to 'punish' them for not asking.

He uses his ability to be stealthy for evil when he decides what to do. He asks them to bring him something in the middle of the day from his room and left bait for them. Then he snuck into their room and waited for them to return home, sitting on their bed.

He scared the shit out of them, of course.

When he sees that they've put his clothes on, though, he gets smug. It makes something possessive light up in him, and it's very attractive seeing them wrapped in his own clothes. They want to stay wrapped in his scent and the feeling of his clothing on their skin.

He's extremely flirty with them when they wear his clothes. He'll also pull them in for a hug or kiss pretty frequently.

He does want them back but he doesn't mind them borrowing them. He figures that will probably work better for them, anyway, since they are probably after the smell of his shampoo or aftershave at any rate, and those scents are subtle and fade quickly.

Silver

Silver is a bit of an airhead at times. It's not intentional. Actually, it's usually only particularly bad when he's starting to get sleepy and dozing off. That is to say, he absolutely doesn't notice that his wardrobe is slowly disappearing until he's down to like half of what he had before he begins to think that maybe he's not just being forgetful.

He doesn't really suspect anyone though. He knows that his clothes are too small for Sebek or Malleus, and Lilia has his own sense of fashion that isn't even in the same realm as him. He thought that his partner did too, so he ruled them out as well, and that pretty much exhausted his close circle that spent much time in his room. Even then, he doubts any of his friends who didn't visit his dorm would want his clothes anyway. So... he just kind of shrugs his shoulders and lets it happen. There's not much he can do until he catches the culprit.

And when he does catch the culprit and sees his clothes wrapped around his partner's figure he gets extremely flustered by it. He didn't think they would take his things but he feels his face go red when he processes that they're wearing his things.

He has to steady himself because the shock makes his legs go a little bit weak on him.

He takes a little bit to get his wits back about him, but when he does, he starts affectionately teasing them that they could have just asked him. He wouldn't have minded.

He will periodically take some of them back just so that his wardrobe doesn't run out entirely, but he doesn't mind if they want to take them again.

How They Act Around Their Crush - Idia Shroud

CW: God save him he doesn't know how to act.

Idia is not used to getting crushes on real, breathing people. He doesn't talk to people enough to get them, and most of the ones he has had have either been idols or 2d characters. He is desperately unprepared to catch feelings.

He sucks at being subtle about it. Whenever he is around them even he can tell he's being weird and gross. He stumbles over his words. He flushes when they say anything even slightly positive about him or does something he finds cute. He is sweating heavily and Oh, God, please don't let him sweat through his shirt! If he gets pit stains or sweat marks he will simply pass away.

He wants to be around them but also doesn't want to be around them. He loves spending time with them and they seem to click with him, but he also feels like he has been so weird that he feels obligated to try and squash the feelings before he spends more time with them.

(It doesn't work.)

Once they start spending time together again after Idia gives up on trying to get the feelings to go away, he definitely still acts a little weird. He gets a little better, for sure, but he still gets flustered around them and acts like he doesn't know how to talk to them.

He doesn't know how to flirt, so even if he tries, he more than likely gives up halfway through and asking them to nevermind what he was saying.

It's pretty unlikely he will make any more additional moves toward a relationship unless they show some kind of reciprocation. If they do, it will probably take quite a few big signs of their interest before he feels confident enough to confess to them.

Vice Dorm Leaders - What gets them flustered?

CW: SFW, Super niche headcanons for Jade that are ALL FOR ME because I think they're cute (lol), Rook is implied to have a crush on Neige (but like a celebrity crush). Mostly fluff so nothing super intense here!

Trey Clover

Trey doesn't get flustered often, but he's not unshakable either.

He gets flustered when he's being praised-- not so much when it's a passing compliment, but when several people are complimenting him at once, he will get a bit red in the cheeks.

He gets flustered when he has to dress up. Especially if he feels as though he's overdressed. He is the sort of person who isn't a huge fan of drawing attention to himself, so he always feels like he looks tall, lanky, and awkward in formal suits, or even fancy clothes like the ceremonial robes. It's not so bad if he's surrounded by other people in the robes, but if he's being honored for something he would be quite happy to just sink into the floor.

Similarly, he gets super embarrassed when he has to put on costumes. He would often take his younger siblings trick or treating when he was still living at home, and he would always want to wear a mask because he would turn bright red if he got caught in costume by someone he knew. Unfortunately for him, his parents really didn't often let him wear a mask for the full night because he would act as an additional chaperone for his siblings, and he wasn't really able to avoid a costume lest he disappoint said siblings, so...

Jade Leech

Jade also doesn't fluster easily. In fact, he's downright difficult to fluster in any meaningful capacity. However, and this is entirely conjecture because it's not really touched on at all in canon, I like to believe he was a lot more shakable as a middle schooler.

Hear me out... I think Jade and Floyd had braces. Do I really have any evidence for this other than the fact that Jade tends to smile with a closed mouth? No, absolutely not, but I'm sticking to my guns. I think Jade had braces and was shy about it, so he tends to keep his mouth closed more than Floyd does out of habit.

The other thing that embarrassed the hell out of him? When he first came on land and was learning how legs work, he ate shit a lot. There were many occasions where he "folded in half like a folding chair" as Floyd loves to put it. He hates it when his brother tells that story, and he gets a little flustered every time... And a strong, strong Cain Instinct.

He will tell you he's shy but that's pretty much a lie. He only really gets shy if someone is intensely examining him, and even then he finds it more unsettling than flustering.

Now, acts of physical affection? That's what will fluster him. He's used to casual touches from Floyd or Azul since they've grown up together, but to have someone else straighten his collar or give him a hug would be enough to give him the jitters. Unfortunately, he has an exceptionally good poker face, so even if he is flustered, most people probably wouldn't be able to tell.

Jamil Viper

Compliments are, quite literally, the fastest way to see Jamil get bashful. Of course he loves to hear praise about himself, and he often says it as a joke, but if he gets a heartfelt compliment he goes red in the face in an instant and has no idea how to respond. Kalim is unfortunately very honest about his feelings which means that he's very good at flustering the good Christ out of him when he tries.

Another thing that flusters him is having someone clock into the fact that he's a lot more talented than he usually shows. He hates having it pointed out, after all he's doing his best to be subtle, but if they notice and don't make a big deal of it or only mention it privately, he will get a little flustered. In a good way. It kind of feels nice to be known.

Flirt with him. That's not a joke-- he's very unused to having people flirt with him so he trips over himself really fast if someone hits on him.

Rook Hunt

Rook is a tough nut to crack. Staying calm is a huge part of being a successful hunter, so there's not a lot that someone could do that would break through that.

... Unless your name is Neige Leblache, in which case, everything you do that acknowledges him is going to fluster him. Rook has such a celebrity crush it's not funny.

If your name isn't Neige, though, the quickest way to fluster him is definitely to catch him off guard. It's hard as hell to do, but very rewarding, especially if you manage to catch him, the romantic, off guard with a pick up line. It helps to have a prop prepared, and if you want to see him swoon get him a bouquet. He finds the spontaneity romantic.

Lilia Vanrouge

If Rook is a tough nut, Lilia Vanrouge is solid stone. He's incredibly hard to fluster. Essentially take the level of calm and level-headedness that you get with Rook and crank the knob all the way up and then break it off. He's nearly unshakable simply because of all the lived experiences he has.

There are a couple of ways, though, so not all hope is lost!

The first is to court him. I don't mean hitting on him, and I don't even mean asking him out. I mean old-fashioned do their research, link arms with him, pen a letter and bring him flowers and jewelry type court. He was raised in an era where being courted and being chivalrous was very, very in fashion. He loves to be doted on, and that sort of dedication will both impress and fluster him.

The other way is more platonic, and that's to make him feel like he's family. Lilia highly values family, and it feels good to have a place surrounded by people that makes him feel like he belongs. He spent a lot of his youth at war and seeing the parts of humanity that most people would turn their heads away from. He sometimes feels like he is a monster, so having someone who can love him in spite of where he's been and what he's done means more to him than he can put into words. If they do something that makes him have that momentary realization that Oh, they love him unconditionally, it's going to fluster him. He'll get red in the face and might even get a little bit teary.

Courting Rituals for Floyd, Jade, and Sebek

Leech Twins

It was touched on briefly in the mating rituals post (NSFW), but Moray Eel Merfolk show their interest via wide-open mouths the same way that actual Moray Eels do. What that didn't mention, though, is that they tend to open their own mouths wide to display interest without even realizing they're doing it. It definitely looks strange: like they're either very intensely mouth-breathing OR like they're about to bite.

Speaking of biting, that can also be a sign of interest... of a sort. If they're attracted to someone, they're more likely to nip... but only when they're irritated. That's a sort of fast and loose definition of courtship, but they don't typically use their teeth on someone they aren't particularly close to.

Touch is a big sign of attraction for them. They're no strangers to roughing someone up if they need to, of course, but being gentle with someone is a very deliberate thing for both of them. Casual touching and gentle affection are a big sign that they care a lot. And, by extension, if their touches are flirty or suggestive, that's a pretty good sign they're into someone.

Dancing is a big sign for them. Eel merfolk wrap their bodies around each other in a sort of dance to express interest under the sea, and the closest they can get to that on land would be dancing. That doesn't mean dancing as in the breakdancing that Floyd likes-- that means intimate dancing. Think slow dancing, touching and getting as close into the object of their affection's space as they can.

Jade Leech

Specifically for Jade, he's a little bit hesitant to show his teeth. It's not something that's obvious without getting to know him, but he doesn't usually show his teeth unless he's threatening someone or he's exceptionally comfortable around them. It's a pretty good indication that he has interest in someone if they notice him smiling and showing his teeth, or even just relaxing about keeping his mouth closed.

Floyd Leech

Floyd doesn't realize a lot of the time that he is showing interest in someone. If someone is familiar with Eel courtship, he's not subtle about showing the signs that are in his nature. That being said, it can sometimes seem to be in direct conflict with his hot-and-cold emotional temperament, so he can be an especially hard nut to crack.

Sebek Zigvolt

This may sound bad, but Sebek's scent changes noticeably when he's interested in someone. Not horribly or anything, but it is a strong enough change to be discernable by human noses. It's a bit of a more musky, darker scent than before.

Touch is also a big one for Sebek. When he's interested in someone, he's much more open to touches. He won't actively seek them out, but he will let them touch him more than he would let anyone else. (With obvious exceptions.) If they seek out hugs or snuggle up to him, he likely won't object if he's interested in them.

This is where Sebek's personality clashes a bit with his instincts. See, his instincts tell him that he wants to display his interests by seeking them out for affection on his own. He wants to tuck them under his chin and hold them close. His mind however, tells him that would be incredibly embarrassing and he would be better served to focus his attentions on something else. Without the intervention of someone else, he's not likely to start being open with touches until well after he's already with a partner.

The other thing with Sebek... he's the sort of person who is very conscious of how he appears, and he cultivates his appearances very carefully. However, if he gets advice from someone he trusts (such as Lilia or Malleus) that he should persue someone, he will do it with no regard for how embarrassing it should be.

Trey Clover

While Trey himself doesn't make a lot of puns or cheesy jokes, he's more than happy to indulge in a few pranks here and there. They're not the mean sort, thankfully, but it's his own little contribution to the playful nature of their relationship.

He would be lying to say that he wasn't a little impressed with their ability to find new ways to say something that makes him groan at how bad it is.

He'd never really taken their flirting seriously. It was kind of hard to when their idea of flirting was "Oh, you must be the library book I checked out last month because you have 'fine' written all over you." He can't help but to laugh when they say it, but he's never really thought too much about it. Besides, they wouldn't even be the only one of his friends who play-flirts with him even if he did.

He's really, genuinely surprised at how much it seems to fluster them when they're helping him peel apples for a pie and when he says he 'finds them a-peel-ing'. They're unable to speak for several minutes and Trey can't help but to be sort of charmed by it. So they can dish it but they can't take it, huh?

Leona Kingscholar

At first, Leona found their puns insufferable. He couldn't even really look past the fact that they were puns long enough to acknowledge that they were flirting with him, he just sighs loudly in protest everytime they make a pun at him and removes himself from the situation.

They are frighteningly persistent, though. That or they simply genuinely find themself funny, given how much they laugh whenever Leona rolls his eyes at them. It takes him a while, but eventually he stops feeling the need to turn and walk away from them whenever they start making jokes like that. Aside from the jokes, they're really pretty good company otherwise.

Leona doesn't really make many puns, nor does he make many jokes in return. He will pretty rarely, but they rarely seem to land because his idea of a joke is usually just a little mean or threatening. It can be very hard to tell if he's being serious when he says something until he starts smiling.

He starts to notice the pattern after a while-- that they're pretty obviously hitting on him when they make those godawful puns. He privately admires them for it. Not because of the jokes, but because it takes a lot of balls to not only hit on a prince but to hit on Prince Leona. He's well aware of his reputation for being kind of a scheming dick and he really doesn't care, but it's impressive someone so... normal has that kind of bravery in them.

He doesn't acknowledge it for a very, very long time, until one time they whip out the "I'd be lion if I said you weren't cute." He decides to push their boundaries just a little, just to see how they react. He plants an arm over their head against the wall and leans into their space, grinning at them roguishly, and huffs a "Really? Tell me then, herbivore, what do you find so cute. Don't leave out any details." He's never flirted back with them (if this even qualifies as flirting back) so he's a little surprised how quickly they go red in the face and have to scramble to cover their face. Oh? He might just have found his new favorite hobby if he's going to get reactions like this every time.

Jade Leech

Jade is thrilled when he finds someone else who enjoys puns as thoroughly as he does. ("dilly of a pickle" headass.) It's sort of a competition between the two of them to see which of them could make their friends the most exasperated.

Jade is probably the one who picks up on their flirting the fastest (immediately, honestly) and then immediately dishes it right back to them. The "You're a reel catch" has barely left their mouth before he's already snapped back in and instant with "And you must be here to catch me because you're simply a-lure-ing."

He loves the way they immediately clam up on him, and he always ends up grinning at them like the devil while they sputter and get red. Maybe it's a bit sadistic of him, but it's a competition and he's more thank happy to duke it out for title of "best worst flirt".

That being said, they're both absolutely insufferable to the people around them when they do this. Neither they nor Jade know when to quit, and Azul swears between them, Jade, and Floyd he'd going to snap simply from the amount of fish puns in his vicinity.

Jamil Viper

Jamil is definitely not a fan of the puns at first. While he finds them to be a smidge better than Kalim's literal-mindedness, he can't help but to groan and toss an accusatory look at whatever god might be out there whenever they make a pun at him. Exasperation is definitely the name of the game.

Sometimes he really, really wonders why he puts up with it but then he's reminded when they will tell him thank you for even the smallest gestures and just look genuinely happy to see him whenever he stops by even for a couple of minutes. It's... wholesome. At least that's the best word that Jamil could think of to describe it. He feels appreciated, and that far outweighs the suffering their puns cause.

He very quickly notices their puns trend toward flirting with him after the first couple. He's not the sort of person who like to draw attention to himself, though, so he chooses not to bring it up. It's not like he minds, honestly even if the puns kind of suck he appreciates the compliments at any rate.

Eventually one of them snaps him. Specifically it's "Did you just come out of the oven, because you're looking hot." He's had a long day and it's the first thing they say to him and somehow it's so decidedly in their character that he just starts laughing. Genuinely and unrestrained. He would never admit to it, but having them walk right up to him after the hellish day he's had and just make a pun at him kind of felt like a warm hug.

They look a little like they can't decide if they should be worried or proud, so he finally decides he might as well call attention to the common thread he's noticed.

"You know, you sure joke about how good I look a lot. I'm starting to wonder if you've got something you'd like to say to me." Jamil is gratified immediately at how high their voice pitches as they scramble to find something to say back to him but end up unable to make words form. It's sweet, maybe he'll have to bring it up to them later in private, where they can have a proper conversation.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus likes their puns-- actually he finds them to be quite charming... unfortunately for them, his favorite pastime is to pretend he doesn't understand them so that they have to try and explain themself to him. He's well aware of what he's doing, but he does enjoy watching them struggle just a little bit. That's probably mean, but in his defense they're cute when they try to hide their face from him.

He lets them think that he doesn't know that they're hitting on him. He knows. He's quite flattered, actually, though it takes him a long time to warm up to any sort of romantic feelings so he doesn't reciprocate for a while.

When he does, he tries to get them at their own game. And he would have too if only he'd thought it through a little more thoroughly. When he hits them with "Can I have your name or can I just call you 'mine'?" he's really, truly not expecting them to respond and say that Lilia told them they shouldn't 'give' their name to a fae. He ends up laughing because that such an old prank that the fae have played on others that he forgets for the moment that he'd just been foiled in his flirting attempt. He'll circle back to it in a few days once he's had more time to think.

Or, well, he would have, but while they were spending time together they stopped short and said 'Wait.' Then they, rather excitedly, told him they finally grasped what he'd asked them and told him that it was clever and praised him for how good he'd done. Malleus preens, or course, but it's clear that they didn't quite take it the way he'd intended.

He continues to ramp up his attempts to see how long it takes them to catch on. It's kind of a game for him, trying to find clever ways to get them to catch on. Except it doesn't seem to be working. Eventually he gets kind of fed up with it.

"Hey Malleus, looking good. What's your shirt made of, boyfriend material?" "Only if you're the treasure I've been looking for. After all, child of man, you're as dense as gold." Is the exchange that gets it to click for them, and Malleus smiles at them as he watches their expression go from mildly offended to realization to thoroughly embarrassed and unable to meet his eyes. Ah, yes, that's more what he'd been hoping to see. He quietly celebrates his success as they take the time they need to process.

How do the third years react to a partner who avoids their affection to tease them?

CW: Angst (Cater, relatively mild), talk of consent and boundaries (Leona, Vil), not all of them react well.

Trey Clover

Trey is generally pretty good natured about teasing so he handles it pretty well. There might be a very brief moment of panic where he thinks that he has crossed their boundaries at first, but once he realizes they're just playing with them everything is kosher.

He will tease back, for sure. He's the sort of person who will play into their hand when they playfully refuse his affections. A "if you don't want me to hug or kiss you, then there's no more hugs and kisses for you" sort of deal, which he will keep up until one of them cracks.

Trey also fights dirty. He will absolutely without sweets and other baked treats from them if they refuse his affections. He was going to give them a little kiss on the forehead and let them know that the pastries were done, but if they don't want to know then they simply won't know, will they?

Cater Diamond

Cater feels very differently about it outwardly versus inwardly. Outwardly, he will simply pout if they deny him. Especially if they deny affection multiple times in a row. Physical touch is his number one love language so even if it is a joke to them, it's not one he really finds all that funny.

In his mind, even if he's not always capable of being the typical chipper Cater around them, he feels like he can at least convey that he likes them and is thinking about them with a quick kiss or hug. Conversely, given how much he likes physical affection as well, it still feels like a rejection.

The problem with that is that Cater isn't going to tell them that. He's a very tough egg to crack when it comes to his innermost thoughts and feelings, which means he tends to not communicate his own needs and feelings particularly well. He's not used to having long-term, stable relationships in his life, and there's a very large learning curve for him. It will probably take him a long, long while before he would open up to them about that by himself.

Leona Kingscholar

Leona takes consent very seriously, so joke or not, if they refuse to kiss him or to hug him, that's the end of the story. He won't try again without explicitly asking.

He's not really frustrated by it-- in fact he's really doesn't react at all. A 'no' is a 'no' even if it's not verbal, so even if it's just them moving away from him or giving him any sign that they don't want to be kissed or hugged, he's going to respect that.

Now, while they might be doing it playfully, he still doesn't play along with the game. Honestly, he might not even realize they're playing a game with him unless they tell him simply because of how fast he is to drop the matter without asking questions.

Rook Hunt

Rook is probably mildly annoyed by it, but wouldn't want them to know that.

So long as they would be okay with it, he would more than likely start a game of his own in response. If they're going to turn their head away from his kisses and affection, he will simply make his kisses less predictable. They can't dodge something if they don't see it coming.

Vil Schoenheit

Vil is... less than amused. He's not mad, perse, but he is a bit frustrated that they would dodge his kisses when he's just trying to express affection for them if they're not genuinely upset.

It's not that he doesn't know how to have fun with his relationship, but he really dislikes this particular game. Similarly to how I described it in Cater's part, it's still a rejection. Vil might not take it to heart quite so much, and he will be quite vocal about not liking it.

It's simple: even if they are playing, he's going to take them turning away seriously. He doesn't like the idea of them trying to make saying "no" a form of play because he needs to know there's no room for there to be grey area there.

Idia Shroud

Idia's heart drops whenever it happens. It's not a great feeling because his brain automatically connects them trying to pull away from him with them being upset with him.

Once he realizes they're just playing around, he gets... well, kind of grumpy about it. He's not great at handling emotions regarding romance, and the fact that his anxiety spiked over nothing puts him into a bad mood.

Needless to say, he's not really a big fan of them doing it. It doesn't stop being jarring or upsetting for him.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus pouts, for sure, but he does know it's a joke. It doesn't quite stop his mood from getting a little stormy when they give him a hard time when he's trying to simp be affectionate.

Not one to be beaten, though, Malleus will find his own way of getting back at them. Fae are tricksters by nature, so he's no stranger to playing pranks. He will likely either a) start pulling away from their kisses as well until they apologize or start asking him to kiss them again or b) simply start phasing away from them when they lean in to touch him. He has an advantage, after all, he can teleport.

He eventually warms up to it a bit, but only after he feels fully satisfied that he can dish it out just as well as he can take it.

Lilia Vanrouge

Lilia recognizes their game immediately after they do it the first time. He shrugs it off in the moment, but don't underestimate him, he's just taking his time to step back and consider his options.

If you open the door to playing around to Lilia, he will take the chance to play... in fact he will slam the door wide open, and it can be very hard to close it considering Lilia is a proud man and a fae with a reputation to uphold as being head mischievous lad in charge.

He definitely leverages his ability to float and tip upside down to his advantage. When they deny him a kiss, he lets it drop for a while before he drops down upside down from a doorway and plants a kiss on their forehead.
