Captain Fluffbun -obscene freckled thighs- Gingerbeard is a bisexual and polyamorous icon leading a pack of gay pirates on a ship called The Walrus. His friends are Miranda -wife of his best friend Thomas- Barlow and John -curls and puppy eyes- Silver. He likes ruthlessly killing his friends if necessary, chess, warships, Spanish gold, pirate’s rights activism and plotting. Anne Bonny and Max are gay and very much in love. Jack Rackham is the local fashion icon (Sunglasses in the early 18th century?) and pimp. Billy Bones is confused. No-one understands a word of what Charles Vane says. The Blackbeard character is completly unnecessary and I forgot what Eleanor Guthrie actually does.
