YES OF COURSE!!! I have been thinking about this AU since early August, so I have quite a bit of art for it.. HOWEVER most of it I won't be able to share due to me not wanting to spoil anything.. I'm currently in the process of writing the first two chapters for the fanfic! basically, the plot of the AU is set post ch 3-4. Castle Town is holding a ball to welcome in all the new darkeners who have moved in, and Spamton desperately wishes he could attend. He misses being a part of society, and has yet to find a place within Castle Town other than as an armor. He is insecure about his looks, and doesn't feel like anyone could treat puppet like him with any respect.

He's visited by a mysterious figure (can't say too much about them yet!) who grants his wish to make him appear like his past self for a single night, and he can finally attend the ball.

There he reunites with Tenna and things get... yeah they get insane from there

This is an old comic that I made back in August as the idea/concept for the AU, and then it basically spiraled all out of control from there OOPS!! most of this stays pretty close to what I have for the finished product, except Tenna and Spamton get a pretty drastic outfit change, which i AM working on ref sheets for!!

Spamrella is an AU I’ve been working on since September, and I honestly really want to see it completed because how in love with this idea I am. However, I haven’t written a fanfic in YEARS, and I’ve considered trying to move to a comic format, but I know that wouldn’t get across the fairytale aspect of the AU im trying to get across.

I have written a good chunk of chapter one, but unfortunately I haven’t touched it much because I got hit with AO3-Author-itis where once you write a fic, 1000 things happen in your life at once haha

There’s a LOT of this AU I haven’t shared purely out of wanting to keep a mystery, such as who the fairy godmother is. I’m hoping once I can settle into my current semester, work will swiftly resume back on the AU!! have a thumbnail of a cover idea for the AU as an apology

0^0 does Spamton still have his speech quirk after his transformation, or loses it? I can imagine it would be jarring for him with or without it for a day in an old body he no longer has.

When he transforms, the speech quirk goes away! He's honestly weirded out by it.. it's so nice to finally have the quirk gone, but he's not used to hearing his voice without it anymore. Spamton has to deal with feeling out of place in his own body again, but he also knows he can't let himself get comfortable in it, since he'll look like his usual self back at midnight.

What is Swatches perspective on the situation? Does he think it's a scam?

Also how does Tenna feel about the situation? It seems Spamton is NOT trying to hide his identity at all. So is Tenna furious at Spamton for his disappearance or is he just trying to ignore everything that happened before and pretend for the night that Spamton never left?

To be honest, I haven’t thought much about Swatch in this AU.. but honestly he would be pretty skeptical of Spamton. He’s one of the few who’s seen Spamton a lot in the recent years, he knows full well that Spamton is a puppet now. Seeing him some time after his “defeat” as NEO makes Swatch curious. How does Spamton look like his old self again? He thought Spamton lost to the lightners, did they help him? Or is this another trick? But Swatch is too busy working the Gala to actually do anything about it, mans gotta make that money

As for Tenna? He’s going through a LOT this night. Seeing his ex-partner waltz in after YEARS of radio silence just to see that he’s (supposedly) doing alright for himself? Yeah he’s pissed. But at the same time, he missed Spamton so much. His heart melts seeing Spamton in such regal attire, and looking the same as he did the day he lost him..

Spamton’s also.. kinda lying to Tenna a lot about his disappearance. He’s telling a lot of half-truths. Saying things like he couldn’t reach Tenna’s phone, that he couldn’t return because the link to their worlds closed. But when pushed further, he stays vague and brushes Tenna off.

Tenna just wants to shake him and demand answers but at the same time just wants to hold his spammmy mailman :o[

THIS IS THE EXACT SONG FROM THIS VERSION I HAVE IN MY PLAYLIST FOR THIS AU. LITERALLY YOU READ MY MIND!!!!!

This song and "Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful?" is also PERFECT for Tenna in this AU... A lot of this AU has Spamton dealing with the fact that he thinks no one will love/like him because he's "ugly" as a puppet. When he's turned into his past self for one night, he has Tenna telling him how handsome he is, even after all these years. Spamton knows Tenna is being superficial, only caring about him now just because of how he looks tonight. Especially since the last time they met, Tenna didn't recognize him and called him a rat.. How could Tenna ever love someone so hideous?

YEAHH I AGREE!! I was planning for Toichiro to be the Rat King, it wouldn’t be the REAL him, but it would look like him and have his personality! The winter wonderworld Reigen and Serizawa are trapped in have people they know in it, just they don’t know who Seri and Reig are or have memory of themselves.

Toichiro is the Rat King, and Serizawa has to face him to show how much he’s grown on his adventure.. but RK Toichiro doesn’t know who Serizawa is, just that he’s an outsider who’s trying to stop his plans!
