Hey, I don’t know how to end things. Here’s a fluffy little short thing. Enjoy. 

Thistle’s eyes bolted open. Her arm touched something beside her and her pounding heart relaxed. She caught her breath and tightened her grip on the body beside her.

Catherine moved a little, but didn’t wake up.

Thistle stared at Catherine’s red hair. She wasn’t going back to sleep now, not with all that light hitting her in the face. She brushed Catherine’s hair over her shoulder and kissed the back of her neck.

Catherine sighed and grabbed at the blanket, pulling it up and over her until Thistle’s feet were dangling just outside the covers.

Thistle squealed and pulled her feet up.

The sleepy sighs continued until Thistle pulled the blanket back. She rolled over until her back was to Catherine, the blanket tightly wound around her.

Catherine rolled over and draped an arm across Thistle. She muttered a sleepy ‘good morning’ and gently prompted Thistle to roll over to face her.

Thistle followed the movement until they were face to face. Catherine’s eyes were still closed, but she was smiling. She pulled Thistle’s face close and kissed her gently on the forehead.

I have no idea who or what it is…

To be fair, I was making it as a reference for something (which, if everything goes well, you’ll see by the end of this month or the beginning of the next), but I think I got attached to the little thing.

I mean- just look at it!!!!

I need a plushie of this creature so I can bury my face in it and forget for a while that I existttt!!!

It kind of reminds me of a bee. Maybe I unknowingly based it on one? I do have more experience with bees than the average person.

Bees are cute.

Except for the smell when they’re dead, it’s like fermented syrup that wasn’t stored properly…

Anyway, do you have any name suggestions? I can’t just leave it as "the thing" lmao.

Hope the world doesn’t burn today, happy day ^^
