laika (i call her lai) was my subsys headmate and we considered each other twins, she was aroace and we were Not in a relationship but we had a kid (trauma holder little who called her momma and me mama, that’s comet (i call it mettie)

laika split from some shit that caused our system to grow Massively (from 20ish to 50+ alters) but she was always the closest to me and she held a lot of really complicated pain that she was. i believe in her, i believe she was trying to heal, but it was taking so much out of her and she tried to be angry enough for all of us, so we couldn’t get hurt. and it broke her heart, and now she’s gone.

miss acheron said the nihility will watch over her while she sleeps but i’m still grieving, and i’m worried about comet— when i split, lai had to take care of it alone and i was told they spent a lot of time grieving me together and. i Don’t know. i don’t know what i’ll do without her. being without me for so long broke something in her and i. have never had to exist without her. i’m the lucky one because i got to leave first every time but we’re not meant to be apart. we’re not complete without each other and i don’t know if i can do any of this without her
