honestly it's not like a have a clear system, some mbs come easier than others... i wont say anything you havent already heard so this probably will not be helpful... but i cannot make things simple so click to read more (^-^;

i'd say start by having the main subject clear (in this case, the idol/s u want to work with) and look for different pics of them to see which vibe u like best...

then for the actual looking for pics part i really just stalk every account i follow on pinterest/scroll through tumblr saving the ones i think could match the vibe im going for... you can go to broad tags (#archive moodboard / #kpop moodboard) or more specific ones if you have a style in mind (#[color you want] moodboard / [chosen aesthetic] moodboard) to have a clearer idea of what kind of items are normally used. if your gallery looks a mess, then you'll probably do something good ( ^-^)b

having an already existing moodboard/account whose style you really like also helps! u can see what kind of themes or colour schemes they use more often and use it for inspo when looking for pics! (muerdida chocorubo haenmqi alfaire i'm looking at you u guys are the best if u see a mb of mine and think hmm this looks familiar... i probably stole it from you)

for layout it depends on the amount of pics you have and honestly just do what feels good. i like the look of two 4:3 pics – divider/locs – six whatever:ratio pics just because it is easier for me to arrange them like that, but back in the day i used to do 10 pic mbs all 4:3.... #miss those days tbh

and i guess the biggest tip is to not get so frustrated. if you have a few pics that you think look good tgt but you cant seem to find any more that fit them, just save the draft and move on. try something else. maybe you find a pic that makes everything fall into place and before you even know it, you have made a mb!!!
