Angela was smiling so widely that her cheeks hurt as she ran her fingers over the delicate necklace. Reinhardt was spoiling her with this, which made her hope that her gift would go over half as well. Once the necklace was clasp around her neck, she turned and picked up the two boxes behind her. The smaller one was a couple of books on mythology that she thought Reinhardt might enjoy. The larger box was a finely cabled sweater that she knew would keep him warm. The last item was positioned under the sweater. An envelope with a couple of plane tickets. “I talked Jack into giving us some time off and, well, I made tentative plans for the first couple of days. But just the first couple of days, the rest we can finish planning out however you want.”
