Crossfire has spent all day setting up nice evening on the rooftop at the edge of town. His children helped him as well, distracting their mother throughout the day as he prepared the final touches. Once he was done, he let out a mighty roar that could be heard throughout Iacon. He was calling for her. Sure, he may have used their bond to call her but he thought his roar was more appropriate for this moment.
With council business getting more intense Navimus had completely forgotten about the special holiday. So she suspected nothing when the kids took her around on the opposite side of the city or inside there home. As evening approached room and pawn showed up saying they wanted to pay a visit and still Navimus suspected nothing.
She was quiet shockwaves d when she heard her mates roar though she sensed no distress of cancer through the bond. Even the roar did not sound threatening at least to her audials. In fact it sounded more like a call. And some instinct was telling her to answer.
Now realizing both Rook and Pawn where here to watch over the kids she said a quick goodbye before heading out the door and transforming. Once she was in the air she gave her own roar in response to let her mate know she had heard and was on her way.
When she made it to the rooftop she found a table placed with food and plates and candles with different flame colors define operated the area. It finally dawned on Hershey the special occasion was and she felt embarrassed that she had forgotten and had nothing in return for her mate.
“Crossfire this is wonderful.” She said said after she had landed and taken her birthday pedestrian form again.
