Eugene/Rapunzel kids

adopted a little baby named Milo at 11 months

he looks like a spitting image of Eugene, with dark brown hair and brown eyes, but little freckles on his cheeks and chubby cheeks

loves going outside and looking for bugs, specifically pill bugs and caterpillars

meet him at seven months and fall in love with him

he's obsessed with reading and drawing, loves the book Charlotte's Web

loves going to the library

has a beetle plush that they got him at the toy store when he was like 3

twins are born when he's three

Eugene and Rapunzel have fraternal twins. Emma has the facial shape of Rapunzel with Eugene’s nose, Rapunzel’s green eyes, and Eugene’s grin. Flynn, the younger of the two, has Eugene’s facial shape, Rapunzel’s small nose, Eugene’s brown eyes, and Rapunzel’s bright smile.

Emma is older by like eight minutes, and they’re both geminis, while Rapunzel is a taurus and Eugene is an aries (bless this family with an aries as their father)

Emma is so adventurous like her mother, being outside every moment possible. She’s one of those kids that constantly has bruises and scrapes from climbing trees.

Flynn is more quiet, more intellectual. He loves reading and his absolute favorite is painting and drawing. He’s more artistic.

Emma is named after Eugene’s mom, whose name was Emily. Flynn is named after Flynnigan Rider, the book Eugene read as a child.

Of course they read “The Tales of Flynnigan Rider.” In fact, Eugene read the whole book to Rapunzel’s baby bump.

Emma’s nickname is sundrop, and Flynn’s is sunny boy. Just like Rapunzel’s sunshine.

The kids always wonder why Eugene calls Rapunzel blondie.

Flynn and Emma are in bed one night when Flynn finally asks, “Why do you call mommy blondie? She doesn’t have blonde hair.”

Eugene tells them the full story, “This is the story of how I died….”

Of course Rapunzel is there to commentate.

Both have cute little freckles like their mama.

Flynn’s hair is wavy, like his father’s while Emma’s is straight like her mom’s.

Flynn loves horses because of Maximus, while Emma’s the girl that brings bugs and reptiles inside. She loves chameleons.

Arianna made a blanket with little chameleons and it’s pastel purple. Emma sleeps with it every night. Flynn has a stuffed horse that looks like Maximus that he sleeps with. It’s their prized possessions.

When Flynn is nervous, he gets quiet, even when people prompt him to talk. It’s easy to notice by his parents, but others may take it as rude, Rapunzel makes sure to comfort him and tells him, “It’s okay, you can talk.”

Of course they are strict on stranger danger, and they are very strict on being safe around strangers, due to Rapunzel’s kidnapping and what Eugene saw and experienced at the orphanage.

Emma is a fidgetter, and has to constantly be moving. Her legs are tapping up and down at the table around new people, but she tends to babble and opens up easier than Flynn, she’s moving while doing it though.

Eugene is the best and most doting father, especially around bedtime. They constantly get bedtime stories.

Work is second to his kids, Eugene will be there for his kids and Rapunzel. Nothing comes before them because he is the best father

her name is Maisy and she's Milo's biological sister

she has blonde hair and brown eyes and chubby cheeks

she's about six weeks old when they adopt her

Milo is ecstatic to have another sister, but Eugene and Rapunzel sit him down and explain that he's adopted and he's completely understanding, in fact he always uses the insult that they chose him to the twins when they're older

they explain that they are a blended family

of course Milo knows what adoption is when August is adopted because mom was never pregnant like the twins

lastly, there's August who they adopt at birth when Milo is 7, the twins are 4

he's got blonde hair and green eyes and freckles

he's the baby of the family and gets away with everything

they nickname him Gus Gus like the mouse in Cinderella

Maisy chose his name after the fact that he was born in August

they get the call about a preemie and that baby is August

Rapunzel: one bonus of being a parent is grossly misusing modern slang on purpose and watching my kids cry inside. A fine example: the other day I pointed at a piece of artwork and, while looking my son right in the eyes, went "Man, is that bae or what, huh?" and the look on his face was something I will treasure for years.

Rapunzel and Eugene headcanons

(these are my own opinions but if anyone likes them!)

- everything is the same but this is modern

- Eugene works at the police station. He works mainly with foster families and adoptions services. He works well and can relate with a lot of juveniles who are running away from bad families.

- Rapunzel is an art teacher for five year olds, like young fives. She loves it and she works so well with children and is patient.

- Rapunzel meets Milo, who is this little boy in a bad foster home. He reminds her of Eugene and she bonds with him.

- She comes home, tells Eugene, he does a little digging and investigates his home.

- Milo is worried someone is going to take him far away and he'll miss all his friends from schools, especially Miss Punz (Rapunzel's nickname from her students)

- Instead, Rapunzel asks Eugene "What if we foster him?" Eugene can't say no after seeing this precious child and thinking, "What if someone had done this with me? Would I have suffered and did as much as I did?"

- They foster him, and adopt him. About a year later they get a notification that he has a sister, and they adopt her as well. Her name is August and she's about seven months old.

- She was taken in by a family member who was still neglectful, they were offered and both agreed he should be with his biological sibling so they adopt August as well.

- Two years later Rapunzel conceives twins, Flynn and Emma, which is shocking, and the other two are nervous, but once they're reassured they're going nowhere, they're extremely excited.

- They have a big family, but they love it. Eddison is last and adopted when Milo is 10, August is 8, and the twins are about five. He's one and a half at the time and completes the family perfectly.

- Milo has dark brunette hair and brown eyes with freckles, and reminds everyone of Eugene. He loves otters and has a teddy bear from his biological grandma that he adores and takes where ever possible.

- August is blonde with hazel eyes and freckles. She loves butterflies so Rapunzel makes this butterfly blanket and the girl becomes attached to it. She has plenty of other blankets from grandma Ari though.

- Flynn looks like Rapunzel but with brown eyes. He's got Eugene's smoulder though, but is creative like Rapunzel and can draw well at a young age. He's the older twin but only by 5 minutes.

- Emma is a little Eugene with green eyes and freckles. She's really mischievous and loves being outside. She's also a bookworm and has shelves of books. She's been injured so many times from scaling the walls of their fence.

- Lastly, there's Eddison, who has dark hair and brownish green eyes. That's their little Ed, and Edmund is ecstatic. He's really quiet, but his siblings get him to open up and they're super protective of him since he's the littlest. He is a cuddly boy and adores being a part of a big family.

New Dream Week:  Day 5 - Genderswap

Imagining Rapunzel as a boy is my new favorite thing.  Also I'm pretty sure crevats were 17th century-ish, so male!Rapunzel gets a crevat because...uhhhhhghgh >>;  And nobody will ever deny that if Flynn was a woman he would  have a rockin' body.

I couldn't pick a scene really, so I just ended up doing a bunch of doodles u.u
