Yikes.. A lot of the people at my work are pushy religious. I've learned to just be quiet around them when they try to share their beliefs with me.. I nod, smile, and usually excuse myself as soon as I get the chance. -Bles..Good luck, I mean!

I'm interested in what your reaction was? Hahaha.. Would be nice to hear how other people deal in these sort of interactions.. :)
Oh no that's so awkward at your job!! My co-workers aren't pushy with religion, but the guests at the restaurant are sometimes. It's uncomfortable for me because it's not something I'm used to- people aren't (usually) pushy about religion in New York.
So when guests are being all pushy with me, I just have to smile and say, "Thank you!" Because I don't want to lose my job. xD;

SoCal's actually more conservative than NorCal by a fairly large margin, I believe--especially the more affluent areas.
Ah, yeah? I've only really been to San Francisco and San Diego. And of course, San Francisco is a wonderful land of liberal magics and the best weather in the country in my humble opinion. I love San Diego, too- it's beautiful here and everyone's super friendly and I'm being forced to hone my Spanish skills. xD But ahhhh conservatiiiives!
