By request from @mancalledhoss here is some candy for the arctic char here in Iceland. It's a strange season, normally the beginning of the season means fish fresh from the ocean and quite flashy flies in strong colours. Basically what I might use for sea run trout on the coast. But this year they showed up and started feeding on midge straight away. So thin tippet and flies in the size of #14-18. This is the CDC Midge, a pattern by Devin Olsen that has worked wonders for me the last couple of years.

For sale on ebay. Five Fire Tiger flies. Three are tied on Gamakatsu b10s hooks. The other two are tied on Eagle Claw hooks. All have weed guards.
