i saw a few posts that mentioned the ishvalan campaign being kind of skimped over in brotherhood so i checked it out and god DAMN that was. just. where was it? i hate brotherhood

manga: riza murders an ishvalan to save roy and hughes, keeps the gun up to stare at roy thru the scope, we get to see her blank but angered expression at the flame alchemist she created and wishes she hadnt. later on, hughes has to seek her out for her and mustang to be reunited. they have a private conversation about her father and flame alchemy

brotherhood: riza sees roy, riza walks up to roy and says hi. then they have a public conversation where everyone can hear them and join in

why was riza’s dad sick in brotherhood? i love his crazy sudden violent death in the manga. in roy’s eyes it comes out of nowhere and he just dies there on the spot like what. and then riza watching it has such a nice effect. but then? hes sick in bed and dies normally. boring
