FMA things to consider

If Roy had visited the Elric Brothers just a couple of days earlier, he may have been able to stop them from attempting human transmutation.

If Scar had broken into Shou Tucker’s house to kill him just hours earlier, Nina and Alexander would have been saved.

If Kimblee’s explosion had blown off Scar’s left arm instead of his right, his brother would have given him his “creation” arm instead of his “destruction” one.

If Ed’s arm had been taken first instead of his leg, he wouldn’t have been able to clap and bring Al’s soul back.

you know which FMA character we should talk about more? Nina Tucker’s mother

we don’t know what her relationship with Shou Tucker was like, but we know from a memory of Nina’s shown in FMAB that they argued enough for her to remember it at a young age. so she (Mrs Tucker) potentially put up with a lot of shit, and then her husband performed experiments on her before combining her with an animal. which we know from Greed’s chimeras is fucking painful and traumatic

and she was SENTIENT as a chimera. she was probably observing her household until her death; sitting there whilst military men commended Tucker on his successful chimera; watching Shou tell Nina that “mommy was evil and she left us”; probably knowing that there was a possibility that Shou could perform a similar experiment on their only daughter

pretty much the only mention she gets in canon is the fact that all she said was “i want to die”, before starving herself to death. which sounds creepy as hell but it’s actually just really fucking sad when you think about it
